Yes, I know Elyon is 2-A but she is a glass cannon so both can one shot each other with a single attack. Neither seem to have a massive hax advantage also so let's see if this match can be done.

Well, Elyon only used Existence Erasure when she really wanted something gone.

She has Mind Manipulation and Petrification which Elyon doesn't resist and due to Elyon being a glass cannon Celestia can one shot. She also resists Elyon's mind manipulation.

As for Elyon, she can one shot due to her AP, and she has Existence Erasure though only used it when she really wanted the Meridian prison gone, she can turn invisible and intangible but she doesn't spam them. And she has infinite energy.

Other than that, both have Teleportation, BFR and the mean to return so it's useless for either to try it. Both also have Reality Warping so if Elyon tried to alter the battlefield like she did the bookstore or when she removed Taranee's mouth, Celestia could just reverse the changes.

It wasn't my intention to create a one sided match. I thought both had a chance.

It's in character for Celestia to engage in a beam struggle? I assumed she'd dodge or teleport if able, similar to how Elyon uses teleportation to escape or forcefields to block incoming attacks.
