Extremely heavily D&D based, especially for the first book.

Though with the author already making it clear "Story first, D&D rules second" and having actual rapport in WOTC, it should be fine.

(I believe a discussion about it was made a while back. You should read OOTS btw.)
 
Bill's hax is useless against a higher-dimensional being as it has zero feats of working against one. Sarda just erases him.
 
every time someone makes Bill vs a Higher D character, a piece of Stanford Pines dies bc his clear statement that Bill is Higher D gets ignored due to it "not representing how dimensions work"
