It depends on how Rin's hypotism and memory manipulation works. All To Aru magicans are resistence but fall unconscious, which would give Rin the win.But as I said it all depends on how it works.

If it's some sort of self suggestion type of thing that targets the sub-conscious then it won't work due to them ignoring people-clearing fields. I think if you're directly attacking the mind to control them then it shuts down, but suggestion and what not may not work. Then again they got manipulated by Qliphah.

I'm fairly sure hypnosis in Fate deals with subtle-suggestions. Apparently it uses Prana to change memories in the brain, but people can notice the disrepancies if it's too obvious. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure it takes time and concentration to do, so I'm finding it hard to believe she could accomplish it in the middle of combat. Is there anything else that could be the decisive factor?

Uhhh, Rin one shots by waving her sword? Take away the Jeweled Sword and she will still survive long enough to throw a jewel and still one shot.

Leivinia has supersonic movement speed via Stat Amp, maybe even higher for fighting against Kanzaki. It's not even close to a one-shot, because jewels can be dodged. Not to mention, they can be countered with Telesma Explosions. Both combatants have similar AP.

No, Rin is MHS in REACTION speed, not movement. Not to mention, Saints are also MHS too. So she can just run fast enough to cover the length of "entire mansions". At that point it basically becomes a long-range battle.

I'd like to ask where the 610 megatons comes from. Honest question here. It's nowhere on the Fate profiles, and everything seems to be power-scaling.

Except she fought Caster, who spams beams that tag MHS characters, and was able to keep up with the beam spam by throwing her gems. Thats combat speed. She also nails Herc (another MHS) right in the face which would have been impossible if he was a thousand times faster.

No, the explosion of the gem can wipe out entire mansions and with speed equal, Levinia won't be outrunning the explosion which can catch people who are MHS.

Tarot Card combo counts as Speed Amp, so speed equal shouldn't affect that. Also, if Rin really does have MHS combat speed, then somebody needs to revise her profile ASAP, bcuz it's misleading.

im sorry but if rin start with curses doesn't she simply loses thanks to the curse reversal, and she doesn't have her own curse resistance so simple curse could easily kill her

well that's a difficult question, generally it reflects the curse

magician can sense curses being used and it's generally put in incantations and normal magic circle for safety purpose (as a lot of curse fly by in the atmosphere in the index universe u never know if u could catch one while casting ) , one of the many reason curse are not used a lot by magician unless u are an expert as they are hard countered easily, like flight

they still use them vs normal people tho for obv reasons
