Big Mom

Bowser scales to 7.29 Petatons
Big Mom scales to 18.24 Petatons

What is ACoc?
Edit, looked it up, I forgot she had Conquerer’s haki

I’m gonna allow Bowser to use BFR since Big Mom also has an instant win button

I haven’t gotten to Whole Cake yet (still in Dressrosa) but is it in character for Big Mom to instantly go for Conqueror’s haki? Cuz sometimes characters use it immediately while other times they just throw hands. (Don’t give specific examples please, I don’t want spoilers)

Alr a couple things here.
One, the BFR is really god fricking awful. One has to willingly step in it or be stupid enough to even fall in it. Big Mom is almost always floating on a cloud so it won't work.
Secondly, most of her attacks inflict an ungodly amount of Haki, which has dura neg and regen neg.
Thirdly, the Soul Soul fruit is literally an insta win. As long as Bowser fears her, she'll be able to steal the soul turn him into a homie.
It may be an interesting match, however Haki carries and.. well.. Maser Cannon.

You could give Bowser his Super Suit, which should let him resist the fear manip unless it’s layered or something.
Bowser also has other optional equipment like the Lazy Sell and safety ring that give him resistances to the same status effects as the super suit.

Does big mom have anything that can deal with transmutation and sealing? Because if not I think it would just come down to who gets off their hax first and with speed equalized I think they just tie. Also, his BFR comes from him being able to inhale people like Kirby, not the Mario 64 paintings which is what I assume you are talking about.

Not really explicitly shown that he does that in character nor without extra gear.
I’m also asking if Big mom consistently in character uses conqueror’s haki immediately against strong foes, if she wouldn’t do it at first Bowser can restrain her with his better lifting strength and then hax her, and he can close the stat gap via stat amplification and reduction.

Yep. Her attacks use it and so does she.
Bowser actually resists soul manipulation so that isn’t a problem.
So it seems like Big Mom wins, but Bowser has a ton of optional equipment that gives him status effect immunities. I’m kind of in a pickle rn because as is Bowser has no win cons, but if I give Bowser optional equipment Big Mom has no win cons. I’d like to ask everyone if I should add voting options for with and without optional equipment for both since it is hugely important to the debate.

where's that shown? nothin I've seen on the profile states such
A Buso Haki user with a Devil Fruit has the ability to negate resistances to said Devil Fruit. This resistance negation is layered as accepted below.

ah

Big Mom's is layered.
From the scan it seemed like the people getting hit by that were conscious of it occurring and were actively moving away from her, Bowser would notice it fast and keep his distance.

Well yes, that was because she was not using conqueror's Haki, this is just her passive - which have a range of several tens to hundreds of kilometers. It's already been established that her attacks emanate conqueror's Haki from them.

Once again, since it seems like it is agreed that Big Mom’s Haki carries her, I would like to ask everyone in the thread if they think it would be a good idea to give Bowser his optional equipment since it gives him counters to her hax. Alternatively I could make 2 more voting options for who wins if Bowser is given optional equipment. As of now I think Big Mom wins but I’m holding off on voting because I would like to know if people think this is a good idea.

What does giving Bowser his optional equipment allow him to do?
He has the basic “immunity to all status effects” RPG equipment which includes immunity to fear and sleep, making it so that Big Mom’s Haki isn’t an instant win.

ATP I'ma change the rules to give Bowser the Lucky shell cuz without it he gets Hax-Stomped, this also removes everyone's votes (sorry, I probably should have done this sooner).

How potent it Bowser's resistance? Conqueror's Haki increases in potency the stronger the user is and someone like Beginning of Timeskip Luffy was able to overwhelm and knock 50,000 people out in an instant. What's worse is that even if Bowser can resist the initial effects of Conqueror's Haki, prolonged exposure would eventually do him in.
In-game it functions as a complete immunity, and since they are pretty close in stats I think it would function the same way.
