I know that one should act according to the profiles in versus issues. However, since there is Bowser among the users in the Pure hearts profile and 2-A Mewtwo is available in the Giovanni profile, I do not think this is breaking the rules.

Thats cause the profile is mad old and hasn't been updated. We currently consider the cast and their paper counterparts different characters which wasn't the case when the profile was made. Mainline Bowser has never used or had the Pure hearts and since Paper Bowser doesn't have a profile you can't use him in a thread. If you wanna use the Pure hearts you gonna have to use Paper Mario since he's the only user with a profile right now.
