Bullets vs Magic - EQUINOX vs Cristopher

While looking at the matches, I kinda noticed that this can happen!

Mrs "I hate you for killing Sols"----I mean, personal feelings aside, EQUINOX takes on Mr "Should know that Magic > Bullel-", I mean, Cristopher (If the worst happens, it won't be the first time he takes a beating anyways), in this match.

Jokes aside, it's time for the rules.

Rules:

>> Both in their Solar System (4-B) keys.

>> Speed Equalized.

>> Both in character.

(If there's any problem, rules can be changed to make things fair.)

Whoops, I missed this.

Let's look this over.

Power-wise; I think EQUINOX has the advantage here, given that she's quite a bit superior to some baseline-ish Solar System level characters and Gamma Ray Bursts, though I doubt it's a very big gap. Of course, there's the Higher Mirage Bullet, but otherwise, EQUINOX holds the advantage.

As for abilities and resistances... I believe they'd start at the standard maximum range of 4 or so kilometers from each other, so Christopher's range advantage isn't going to be immediately apparent.

They both have resistances to the other abilities, though they can very well wear each other down over the course of an extended fight. They won't be able to take each other down right off the gate, so the real question there is who has the greater stamina. EQUINOX doesn't have any week-long stamina feats, but that's because Starcross fights rarely last all that long due to the speeds involved.

Energy Conversion is powerful, but EQUINOX can definitely resist its effects and retaliate. EQUINOX certainly seems to have the advantage in versatility, and has reality warping and Sigma Circuit on her side. Christopher has the Higher Mirage Bullet, high power conceptual erasure, and range.

Christopher's best bet would probably be to make a lot of distance with teleportation and fire upon her from a distance. If EQUINOX can get close, she'd probably beat him down; while she's no close combat specialist, she's certainly better at it than him, and her powers are well-suited to it. (Few things sting like a close-range Seal of Lightning, which would likely kill Christopher if she had the time to wear him down). Christopher could very well wear her down with long-distance combat though, keeping EQUINOX on the defensive and forcing her to spend time trying to get closer.

I forgot, too! It's why there aren't any bumps. D:

Yes and yes, SBA makes it like that. And while Cristopher is very good at lasting in a fight, in directly fighting/CQC I'd totally give it to Equinox too by the end of the day. Seal of Lightning or Electromagnetism in general is something Cristopher has not many options to deal with all the time, nor significant resistance to (It was legit something that Joseph Dienova abused to no end in one of their fights to somewhat compensate for Cristopher being overall superior in experience and boasting Energy Conversion to amp his raw physical stats).

Long range being his specialty, Cristopher is likely to try to abuse it - though in this case and Equinox having magic, it would only happen by the time he notices he's actually outclassed in close quarters, as most "Mage/Magic oriented" characters in the verse he hails from usually fail badly at direct combat, while excelling at an even longer range than he has.

That means Equinox may get that opportunity to get him a seal of lightning to the face early on, depending on her mindset, yes, which could turn the tides of the battle.

All in all, I'm leaning more on Equinox myself, though with significant diff due to Cris actually having many tools to stay in the game for long and some - though limited - trump cards that are guaranteed to pose a threat.
