Gokus SSj3 Ki is even felt outside the macrocosm (In the kaioshin realm) thats how powerful ssj3 was yet Fat buu and Kid Buu were able to keep up with Goku very well

I think it's safe to say that DBS pretty much retconned that.

There is also nothing to suggest Buu even came close to destroying anything in the kaioshin realm in the manga.
