It's been awhile, after reviewing all the threads... To me this is how it's looking as far as the two series duking it out for top spot:
Dragon's Dogma vs Devil May Cry.
I would say Dragon's Dogma possibly edges it out at least on the fact that the Seneschal (which scales below the Pathfinder and the Great Will) was in heavy talks for Low 1-C, with potential for 1-A (which obviously fell through but the fact it could have even been considered speaks volumes.)
I know we don't know enough about the Pathfinder but the fact he exists as a sort of avatar for the Great Will means the series should go past 1-C.
Sidenote Capcom is definitely best dev of the 2020's for sure.
