Centuria General Discussion Thread

I feel the Arkos controlling the entire ocean statement is questionable, he can control any water he sees but how is he gonna control something beyond the horizon? That would be by definition beyond his vision
Arkos isn't a super reliable narrator either since he's very prideful too

Talked about this with someone else too, it's very funny that "I control all bodies of water within my sight" is immediately followed by "I control all the seas, to the horizon and beyond!"

Unless seeing a part of a body of water allows him to control the entire body, I feel like the beyond part is exaggeration

I had realized it might quantify as a LS feat for Lukas so I included that
Feat got updated to be slightly lower into Low 7-C+ (enough that you can't upscale to baseline 7-C from it) and Class G

I'm assuming it'll get accepted soon
If I get some free time with my computar next week I can calc some stuff. The last arc had a bunch of tier 8 feats, maybe even 8-A. These two are possible tier 7 but they wouldn't scale to anyone
do you still plan on calcing these?

Holy loredrop chapter, very interesting stuff. So the whole western war was for THAT.

Bugged on how to structure character groups for a verse page. There's significant overlap, especially within the royal palace.

"The entire ocean" is almost certainly an exaggeration, but he can control enough of it to flood an entire country.
To flood an inland city beneath the ocean, you'd probably have to do something like this:

yeah he either did that or directly lowered the ground under the capital

We know from Atlus's hydrokinesis working on rocks that as long there's moisture he can manipulate it, might work better with it being calling a sinking rather than a flood

Good visual. And yeah this is undeniably the strongest feat in the series, but I have zero clue on how you'd even begin to evaluate it without knowing the size of the captial, the size of Rummir, and some visual on the seawater used.

Who knows, maybe this created a new sea that the cast will visit later on or something.

I was thinking about calcing the ocean trump card by using how much of the ocean he could see at once

I'm pretty sure the whirlpool stuff he does in his fight just land in Tier 8 tbh

Arkos carving out the seabed was the best feat for like the first 40-odd chapters! Probably like High 8-C or 8-B. Arkos jobbed so hard in life that his pacifist clone is more dangerous.

Given Julian and Arkos were atop a cliff (a few tens to a hundred metres above the sea?) he could probably see quite a lot of ocean. Not that he'd ever bother using all of it in-character.

Remember how in the early chapters Julian IN THE OCEAN nearly lost to like a random sea monster lol

I think I wanna use the same epithet translations as the Centuria wiki since it's more accurate to the original japanese, which is heartbreaking because "Grave Robber" is such a cool epithet...

I thought rehashing Arkos would be a bit lame at first, but I've become a big Altus fan. His conflict is a classic shōnen protagonist situation, but as an antagonist, and I'm torn between wanting him to be happy and wanting to see some juicy tragedy

Six dead mums so far in this manga as of last chapter. Another 2 week break though due to Kuramori being on business trips and visiting The Weeknd.

On an unrelated note, it seems like Arkos & Altus's gift finally got a name:《液体操作》(Liquid Manipulation)

Since we use average height for Lukas, would this be fine for Julian's height?

Lukas: 1.71m
Lukas' Head: 0.3m / 187.24px
Height DIfference: (0.3/187.24)*77= 0.123371m
Julian Height: 1.71-0.123371= 1.586629m

158cm-tall Julian is genuinely hilarious, but yeah that's fine unless we get actual heights some day.

he probably taller in the post-time skip but without any confirmed heights, he's a short king

Damn it, it's gonna be complicated then I thought isn't it?

Prob have to calc Titi's height based off the crowd, find his pre-time skip height, then Arkos' Height, then his post time skip, AND THEN find Lukas' height

Honestly do I just wait for the eventual height reveal? Whatever height Lukas is does effect the Atlus rock calc

Well, I think it makes more sense to assume that Ju is average instead of 1.58. Lukas always was tall by my eyes

Would it be safe to assume her flames kill people by charring them or is it too vague?

We know her flames even against Atlus is enough to evaporate his water darts before they hit her

Charring them is fair yeah. Even against Altus, whose sin counter was at zero, it burned the hell out of his arm, so if he had even one murder on his hands then it'd be real bad.

So her flame ap could probably be listed as "Varies; TBD (Even against Atlus, who is pure and as free of sin as a newborn baby, she still was able to severely burn his arm), Small Building level (If a target has killed a person her flames becomes strong enough to kill a single man), Large Building level (Against someone who killed a hundred men her flames grow hot enough to burn a hundred men at once)[100x the 9-A value], up to Town level (When Arkos took over Atlus body, she created a massive fireball with her believing she could kill him with this level of flame)"

should calc the fireball

there's a chance atlus' durability is above the charring a human calc value so it might change to "Varies; TBD, higher with sin.."

Holy 9-A+ coming from the Majū was unexpected, cool that it was such an early feat

Are the mud dolls physically weaker than their originals too or is it only their Gifts that are diminished?
Wondering because of Amber
