The new chapter established again that Julian is very, very strong. Once more giving aura akin to Ceodric's. I really feel bad for Julian and his growing apathy, the anger inside him from how horrible life has been to him keeps smouldering.

Also, the new Viz translations for volume 2 is out. Most notably in my opinion is that we now have "Archos Barca" and "The Supreme One".

Julian lacks a spear weakness, unlike Dennis...

ALSO: I'm inclined to use Viz scans and translations where possible unless they're just incorrect, but if supporters oppose certain things then I may fold. Mainly referring to romanizations like Arkos Balkar vs Archos Barca. This may also alter certain terminology, like perhaps "Gifts" could be translated differently. I know most will be reading the Medibang TL since it's weekly, so I'm covering my bases in case anyone is confused.

Between Yuru from Daemons, Ichi from Ichi the Witch and Julian im liking the new standards of MC who are still kind but has no problem with killing. decent chapter, clearly sit up for more stuff in the coming fight, really want to see the void crossers gift soon.It's also interesting how lukas shield can seemly block even the curse

Absolute Defense is a really strong defensive gift, even Arkos can't penetrate it. I would probably index its ability blocking as power nullification, but I do wonder if there's nuance between power nullification and "blocking the effects of a gift".
