Even if it couldn't, it can just wait until the Authority dies from old age which will probably only take like a minute or two because he was basically a barely living corpse by the time he was freed.

Can't he just punch the screen of AM and break it that way? Authority is still able to lift his arms though

That’s because it can’t attack physically, it attacks through all of its powers and weapons
