So I recently started this manga and from what I've read it seems that Rei Ogami's speed is too low. First he's reacted to bullets on many occasions, second he reacted to an explosion and fended off its flames


Third here acted to this girl


Who a chapter later reacted to Yuki whom we have listed as supersonic (likely for reacting to and outpacing an explosion), as well as to his sound based attacks


So I think Ogami Rei as well as Toki Fujiwara (superior to Ogami with his ring on) should be upgraded to transonic or supersonic in reactions

Bump Also all of the Code:Breakers characters we have pages for survived an attack that previously destroyed half of a large mansion casually, and another half of the mansion when used seriously, so they may have building/large building level durability.

Code:Breaker has some of the usual speed feats here and there, the thing is that I am rather sceptical towards using them. Yuki is consistently and through the whole manga stated to move at the speed of sound and will even towards the end blitz top tiers in terms of movement speed.

They have generally higher reactions (defending against bullets etc.), but for general combat speed it is more questionable.

For the durability feat, can you tell me the chapter?

Could we put it as supersonic reactions to ranged attacks or something like that? Although to me it seems more like a case of the author not knowing how fast his characters, bullets, and explosions are. Pretty quickly after he's introduced Yuki reacts to an explosion fast enough to pick up four people who aren't right next to each other , and a statue, then outpaces the explosion, a feat that should make him high transonic-supersonic at least, not just speed of sound.

And the durability feat is chapter 53, he was right next to Yuki and Toki as well as aiming to kill "the one being sought" who was right next to Ogami, so it likely scales to all of them.

Ok, about the speed issue.

I withdraw my statement from before. I asked about such cases and it is likely better to go with the feats. So I can for example calc the explosion feat and if you give me the most relevant feats for the manga while reading it I will try to figure out stats for the characters.

That said the manision destruction feat should be enough for building levels stats I think, yes.

Alright I've updated their durabilities, if at any point they start damaging one another I'll upgrade their AP to match.

For the explosion outpacing two of the people were far enough away that none of the main cast noticed them until an antagonist pointed them out, so they should have been at least a few meters away, although they were never shown in the same panel as Yuki or anyone else so I can't say for certain.

There was also a feat where Sakura moves to catch five researchers who are falling before they can get out of her reach, do you think that this could be calced for a decent speed? They were all originally standing on the same floor as Sakura and Yuki

If so it would scale to Rui for catching Shibuya with her fishing rod, and Yuki since he should be faster than Rui as the speedster of the group. Also it may possibly scale to Toki (code 4) since he's a rank above Rui (code 5)

Also would reducing a flatscreen tv to ash be considered a decent feat? I'm asking since I remember incinerating a human being was calced at room level or small building level. If not can I put Yuki and Toki at "at least small building level" since their powers were superior to Rei's and he can burn a human to ash?

Comments on all suggested feats in order:

1. Ok, first about Yuki carying the people out of the explosion: Since neither the position of the people is known nor in which location the bomb was placed it isn't really possibly to get a value for that.
2. Catching the researchers won't give anything good. (vague estimation gives about 16.615384615 km/h which is in the normal human realms)
3. I will not do faster than eye feats for now, since I will have a bit of a discussion about calcing standards about that.
4. Scaling from Ogamis small building levels flames seems reasonable. Where Ogamis Large building level current stats come from might need to be looked at.
5. I will look into the metal wall feats. Those can likely give a nice result.
6. Creating ice of that amount is approximately small building level. I think scaling him from ogami at that point is reasonable, but if you think otherwise I can do a proper calc to set him to that stat.
7. The gauss canon can likely not be judged in terms of kinetic energy form that feat, given the lack of its speed or a timeframe.
8. Same as above I will wait until I talked about faster than eye stuff before doing this.
9. cutting is difficult to judge, since it depends on how sharp the blade is.
10. Maybe. Reaction through aim dodging like tactics could be the case here though.
11. Same as above. Hard to say if he actually didn't move to that position before the gun was fired.

For 4 the scaling is no longer nescessary as everyone has managed to damage someone with building level durability

For 9 if it helps he was just using water to cut it not any sort of blade

For 10 I just checked and the bullets used by the Japanese police are only subsonic anyway so even if it's not aim dodging it might not be too impressive.

Ogami managed to match Yuki in combat so can I raise his speed to transonic?

As well as a feat where Rui reacted to an explosion and sent out her shadow from the far end of a nearby rooftop before it could reach Toki, she had no way of knowing where the explosion would be and therefore it's unlikely she sent it out beforehand, though I'm not sure if this would be reactions or attack speed, but it should scale to everyone seeing as the one being sought and the re:codes are superior to her (except for one who's her equal) and Ogami fought the one being sought, Yuki fought Ogami, and Toki fought one of the re:codes.
