for crossover matchup (usually) we assume the nature of the energy used in different power sistem is the same.

For example, in an hypotetical matchup between a jjk and naruto character we are going to assume that cursed energy and chakra are pretty much the same thing

But if one of the energy sistems have some passive abilities like buffs or passive abilities they still count as base ability for the character for the guy from that verse
