Someone i'm debating with is trying to make this argument, and I keep trying to debunk it, but he refuses to give in. Can someone give more reasons it's not limited to just mortals?

Its anyone not native to his enviroment or species. They would have to be familar with a non-euclidean enviroment. Its how different The Great Old Ones are from normal beings that cause people to go insane
