Dante Vs Shinnok Round 2, after upgrades

They already fough and Dante won, but after that, Shinnok got some upgrades like Time Hax resistance and some other upgrades, BUT, Dante got Sealing, passive fear hax and some other upgrades...so will Dante keep his victory ? Will Shinnok rise as the the champion this time ? We'll see


- DMC1 Dante, Sparda DT restricted, Base Shinnok

- Scaling chain is: Shinnok's 12 mt apparently, while Dante stomps 9 mt characters and defeated Nightmare, who's > 9 mt

- Their speed doesn't matter, it's equal

- They are in character

- 50 meters between them

Well with no time resistance, Shinnok should takdthis via sealing Dante immediately

His Sealing, however, isn't immediate

It drags the target into his amulet and this take some time, specially with 50 meters between them (while in MKX, Raiden was like some meters and still took time), which gives Dante options to escape

Teleportation, making a Doppelganger to attack Shinnok (the link on his profile shows that attacking him while he's using Sealing cancels the spell), Dimensional Travel with Devil Sword Sparda (which can work even if Dante gets sealed) are some of the options

Sealing nullifies teleportation and dimensional travel, as shown with Raiden.

Doppelgänger will likely also get sealed

Sealing not only sends you to another dimension, but also seals your powers

We don't know if Raiden tried to use said abilities

Because ? Dante can use Doppelganger with a good distance as was shown in the cutscene, enough to be out of Shinnok's sealing range which isn't that great, and a shot from a distance is enough to stop the process

It was stated that Shinnok's sealing work like that ?

Considering the sealing was completely incapable of traveling away despite that he spams it it's easy to see that it doesn't

You were the same person who said that Dante's sealing nullifies Dimemsional travel because Mundus had it yet he got sealed.

Dante can't use Doppleganger that far away, hell his Doppleganger appears literally 5 meters away from him.

apart from the amulet that prevents Dante from atomizing shinnok?

Or simply use the DT that has passive fear that affects demons that escalate their resistance by not being affected by the fear and madness of the demonic world?

Fair point about Raiden

Yes, Dante's Sealing can deal with Dimensional Travel and other stuff, which doens't mean that every Sealing has the same power

Vampire Hunter D, for example, could escape a Sealing because he still was capable of using Dimensional Travel, Mundus spams this and other stuff that helps and didn't escaped the Seal until so Dante's Seal can deal with that

And Shinnok's sealing ? Did he sealed someone ?

Dante's doppelganger can appear more than that and attack at distance, it's on the cutscene, and he doens't need much more than that since Shinnok's sealing range isn't that impressive

We don't even know if it works in 50 meters actually

Exactly, and Raiden can travel from Realm to Realm through teleportation, but he can't if he gets sealed, same with Shinnok when he got sealed by his own amulet.

The cutscene shows Dante creating a clone 5 meters away though.

5 meters or a little higher is enough, as I said, Shinnok's Sealing range isn't that great in horizontal which makes the Doppelganger a way to escape Sealing since he'll appear out of the Sealing range, and he didn't even used at the beggining with 50 meters between his target

Them again its not like Shinnok is completely helpless without his sealing and as shown by his return he can move his amulet around quite fast.

The amulet's range should be several km or more since Havik used it to shoot a ship sitting on the horizon. Sealing should scale to it since it uses the same projectiles. It nulls powers and projectile once you are caught in its beam as shown when Raiden stopped Shin from shooting him
