DB angel additions

In the recent Dragon Ball Super chapters, it's revealed that angels like Whis don't actually need to eat or drink, as Merus, an angel in training, states that it makes no difference whether they eat or not. It's also revealed by Whis that angels are subject to a strict law that prevents them from directly intervening to combat threats like Moro, otherwise they will automatically be erased from existence. Furthermore, the Dragon Ball Wiki states that chapter 32 reveals that angels don't need sleep.

Anyone in favor of adding types 2 and 3 Self-Sustenance and listing this weakness?

It is not a weakness, they can still do whatever they want, the daishinkan then will judge their actions and decide what to do, they will not get automatically erased.

@Ant Why are you agreeing with this? These things come from the manga, which is a different continuity from the anime, so they can't be used on our profiles. This very same evidence had already been rejected by you on another thread because of this.

We should do the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you're saying. The anime and manga are 2 different continuities, if the anime ever comes back (I doubt it will any time soon) and adapts Toyotaro's manga, then we'll add this to the profiles since this would exists on the anime continuity then. Untill that happens, the anime and manga are different continuities and shouldn't be mixed, thus info from the manga shouldn't be on the anime profiles.

Two different continuities and one is likely never coming back and if it does will simply follow manga, idk there isn't much point in having the same character profile twice when the only difference between them is the AP. And again if the anime does come back and it turns out for some reason in the anime they don't have this ability (even tho angels are an almost carbon copy between manga and anime) then it can be removed.

If one of them isn't ever coming back doesn't mean anything. Superman (Pre-Crisis) isn't getting any new comics written about him, and the main difference between him and his modern version is the huge AP difference since they share quite a lot of powers. But they are from different continuities, live different events despite the similarities, and overall his modern self has actually taken back some aspects from him since the likes of Infinite Crisis. This doesn't change Pre-Crisis Superman is from a different continuity and nothing he did can be scaled to his modern replacement.

If you want to make profiles for the manga versions, then this would be ok to apply, but otherwise, this means nothing since it doesn't happen in the anime.

It's ok to apply now since besides stats based off calcs there quite literally isnt any difference between the characters, making more or considering them any different would simply by unnecessary clutter, in fact most the angel profiles besides vados and whis are just that.

Excuse me, but the anime and manga versions of the characters are different, since they live different experiences that outright contradict each other. The ending of the Future Trunks Saga is the best example. Manga: Goku has hakai and Completed Blue, Infinite Zamas is just clones, Trunks doesn't get a power up. Anime: Goku has just his Blue Kaio-ken from the last saga, Infinite Zamas is a living timeline, and Trunks gets SSJ Rage form. They can't be the same continuity, and thus, shouldn't be mixed on the profiles.

I'm not argueing characters actually effected by the changes, whis and the other angels aren't one of them their characters are the same and their roles in the story have been the same, most of them share the same abilities despite never showcasing such so at this point their profiles really do work on the assumption that "unless contradicted" they have it.

They being no different and having the same role is irrelevant. What matters is that these are different continuities, profiles cover only one continuity at the time as per our Cano rules. So unless you're saying both are the same continuity, these can't be added.

My apologies. You are correct. I am juggling lots of different tasks at once, so sometimes I get forgetful and mess up.
