Deconstruction and Existence Erasure question

How do you differentiate between the two?

Do Deconstruction include the souls as well too? How do you know the one used is EE?

So what if a character destroyed all of the physical components of a character but also include all the soul components of the body, is it Existence Erasure or Deconstruction?

(Deconstruction is the ability to break something down into smaller parts. The extent of this ability can vary from user to user. Some can only break down physical things like matter while others can interact with metaphysical objects like the soul. It differs from traditional Matter Manipulation or other abilities like them by only allowing the user to break things down, not manipulate them. Deconstruction users cannot manipulate things they've already broken down to the fullest extent of their ability.)

(Existence Erasure is the simple power to remove something from existence, leaving nothing behind, a level of destruction beyond incineration, vaporization, and atomization. Rather than just reducing something to its constituent parts, this ability leaves absolutely nothing behind. Powerful enough uses of this ability can even erase the mind and soul, if not more fundamental aspects of one's existence, such as concepts.

This ability's destructive power is not absolute, and one should not assume that it can erase the soul by default. It can only be judged by what it has accomplished, and one's resistances to the ability can only be judged by the specific method by which this effect is achieved. The means vary from character to character, but the ability is often considered and listed as a subset of Void Manipulation, though it can certainly occur through the usage of other abilities.)

Deconstruction also said something about affecting souls too and my fourth question has not been answered

Well, how I've known it to be used, erased your existence. Like you never walked the earth. Taking away the fact that you were born and all the influences your actions made onto other people.

If your were deconstructed, the universe would still remember you and all the actions you took while you were alive.

Existence erasure is turning something into nothingness

Deconstruction is reducing them to smaller pieces

Quite a clear distinction. As for destroying souls, deconstruction isn't assumed to do that by default and existence erasure doesn't need to destroy souls to qualify as long as it is erasing the physical body completely

Huh, I guess I was taking in the "erasing of an existence" too literally then.

No, that's a particularly potent form of existence erasure

Erasing the physical body already qualifies and the usual idea of EE here is destroying someone's mind body and soul

Sorry to bump this but what if someone who deals passive soul damage that has already bypassed low-godly (with resistance to soul manip) uses deconstruction?
