Background on the characters:
- Tletl-Meztli: Ancient sorceress, likely conventionally immortal. Like all of the powerful magic-users in the verse she can travel to the dimension of spirit (this part of the cosmology is explained here by the developers).
- Etzli-Tenoch: Ancient sorcerer and blood god. The most powerful magic-user in the verse, however he's been sealed in a crystal by a blood ritual; he can only interact with the physical world through visions and by corrupting the spirits of the nearly-dead.
