Proposal
The proposal is to delete Star vs. the Forces of Evil as a whole from the wiki because of the overwhelming issues that cannot be ignored. Let's go straight to the point.Verse is dead for 3-4 years
Last VS thread was on January 10, 2022, last CRT was on Aplit 15, 2021. Basically, nobody cares ever since 2-A ratings were nuked (I guess that was the main concern for both sides). Why current ratings suck
- High 8-C calc assumes 160 cm although Star is canonically 5'2''. It also links to an entirely different scene compared to what it calcs. Also, it assumes that River pulverized three meters of rock, although it likely is more of natural generation having such unevenness, especially since trees were not pulverized. Also, it would make River 7-8 meters tall, while he is always shown as shorter than Star (even in the same episode), and she is 5'2''. Yeah, this calc is bunk.
- It was pointed out by a then-mod a long time ago by the way, but nobody really cared... (shows you how much ppl care about this verse on this wikia).
- 3-A ratings... are just bad (here are the basic reasons). The justifications themselves say that the dimension was of "unknown size", contradicting the rating. The profiles also fail to explain why these characters would be able to repeat Skywynne's feat (yes, feat is done by the old Queen, Skywynne Butterfly, not the characters in the show, and profiles do not prove how the characters would scale to the feat).
- 2-C rating for Star fails to prove that the entire universes were merged, and does not even prove that the dimensions of Mewni and Earth are full-scale universes (as said before, profiles actually treat them as dimensions of unknown sizes, meaning they give a possibiliy of them being different planets, solar systems, galaxies, etc. etc., without proving they are separate space-times).
- Speed overall is funny since it applies Hypersonic and Massively Hypersonic+ to characters between whom there is a clear established chainscaling. Regarding the ratings themselves, Hypersonic is very weirdly applied. Hekapoo, who did the feat, scales only with "likely" to it due to being supposedly comparable to Marco, while Marco himself is rated at likely Hypersonic too for catching her, despite him actually being far slower than her. Massively Hypersonic+ speed doesn't explain why Star has dodged it while being on Cloudy, since otherwise it would be Cloudy who dodged the lightning, not Star. Also, both link to this blog which was not formally accepted by any Calculations Group Member.
- Varies rating has a bunch of Tier 5 feats (a former user of the wand needed to "power up her wand to a count of 115 so it is extra charged" and then, having enough power, use a spell that could create a lasso around Earth to pull it off and thus make the planet spin, process that she teaches needs to be done this way, the Mega-Explosive Crystal Laser capable of "neutralizing" entire planets is "one of the most destructive spells" in her book of spells, despite the wand being stated to have greater, incomparable destructive capabilities, and an emotionally charged user of the wand charged its power for a long time believing it would "rip the earth in two", whereas the Mega-Explosive Crystal Laser can be quickly used without being emotionally charged) which are never used, for no profiles, even the wand itself, which is rather contradictiory.
Every single profile is horrible
All of the profiles are either bad or awful. None of them have any references, most of them are scanless or even straight up don't even have justifications, the best of profiles are only slightly better but still bad.Star Butterfly
- All of her PnA is completely unjustified or links are dead.
- "Mewberty" key is actually very funny. It supposedly refers to her Mewberty form, which is a form of Mewman puberty for teenage girls, which she unwillingly transformed into in the episode with the same name, and "Can create purple webs" supposedly refers to this, but all of her other scans for second key suggest that the profile talks about this form which it calls "New Mewberty" (actual name is Ultimate Magic Form)
- Her being completely to her father is a baseless assumption.
- Her High 8-C magical AP is literally circular reasoning ("Typically harms Ludo's minions, who can withstand her physical attacks").
- Collapsing watchtower is scanless and was calced to be to 9-A at best.
- "Unknown with the Whispering Spell" is purposeless (it was even calc'd btw).
- All justifications for second key are scanless.
- Striking strength has 0 justifications.
- Durability is scanless, and why is it "likely Universal" is a mystery to me.
- "although she could have also been unaffected by her own magic" is once again a baseless assumption.
- Superhuman stamina has 0 justifications.
- Range is scanless/has no justifications.
- Intelligence is scanless, and the description is not Gifted.
- Weaknesses section is scanless.
- Notable Attacks/Techniques section is lazy and wrong, there is no proof Star knows every single spell in the history of SvtFoE.
Eclipsa Butterfly
- Her PnA section is the best one in the verse, but still most of the scans are dead.
- Said to scale to River but is still 8-C despite River being High 8-C.
- Scaling to River is a baseless assumption.
- "Physically forced backMewberty Moon's hands" is not AP, it's LS. Also, Moon is Unknown physically.
- Knocking back Meteora at least has scans, although Meteora has no reason to have such to durability as I'll explain later.
- Universe level justification provides no actual reason to put her at Universe level regardless of whether dimensions are real universes. We also saw it to only destroy mountains anyways.
- "Her magic is much more powerful in this state, was able to overpower Toffee with one shot" actually proves she is weaker unironically. In base, she casually annihilated Toffee's hand, while in Butterfly Form, even after seconds of blasting Toffee still survives.
- More skilled in magic =/= more powerful.
- Speed is scanless.
- Striking strength is scanless.
- "Large Building level+ with magic (Used her umbrella canopy to block spells angrily fired byMewberty Star)" that's a durability of the wand, not Eclipsa.
- Why does she scale only up to much higher while Star is "likely up to Universal level".
- Stamina section does not give any reason to why it should be "High", and "High" is not a rating anymore.
- Range has no justifications.
- The Royal Magic Wand does not lead to the profile.
- "Very High" is not a formal rating.
- Intelligence is scanless.
- Weaknesses section is scanless.
- "It should be assumed that Eclipsa Butterfly has a mastery over the majority if not all of the Spells that Star Butterfly currently knows" is a baseless assumption.
- Notable Attacks Section is pretty good.
Moon Butterfly
- Her PnA section mostly has no justifications and is entirely scanless for cases where there are justifications.
- Slightly dragging Star is not a feat. Why is it even used lmao.
- Why is Star assumed to scale to River without any basis while Moon does not scale to her daughter or husband.
- Toffee fight part is scanless.
- Why is her magical Attack Potency assumed to be same as Star's.
- Moon warning Star thingy is scanless.
- Speed section is scanless.
- Forcefields should not count for durability. Also her base equaling Star Butterfly's Ultimate Magic Form is such a huge outlier but is used nonetheless.
- Range has no justifications.
- The Royal Magic Wand does not lead to the profile.
- "Very High" is not a formal rating.
- Intelligence is scanless.
- "It should be assumed that Moon Butterfly has a mastery over the majority if not all of the Spells that Star Butterfly currently knows" is a baseless assumption.
Toffee
- His keys are "Toffee" and "Merged with the Wand", which is just silly: Toffee is his name during the entire series, and he did not merge with the wand but rather the entirety of magic itself (which is in the Realm of Magic where Toffee specifically was).
- None of PnA has a single scan.
- All of his base feats are not actually base, but after he merged with magic & corrupted it, so it should actually be the second key.
- "Large Building level+ physically (Comparable toMewberty Moon ButterflyandHekapoo)" these feats are not done physically.
- "He absorbed the magic of many targets, leaving them either unconscious or removing most of their bodiesminus the parts of it that aren't magic" false, the entire bodies of the Magic High Commission are made of magic. It would be weird for a giant skull, humanoid crystal, and very-white skin lady to have naturally existed, especially since Glossaryck created them.
- His speed section is entirely scanless, and his justification for base is just an assumption.
- His Superhuman stamina is not bolded, is baseless for his base form, and justification for second key is not Superhuman. Also wth is "Vastly Superhuman".
- How can you even have unknown range?
These are borderline scanless profiles.
Meteora Butterfly
- All of her PnA is completely unjustified or scanless.
- The act of fighting Moon does not scale her Attack Potency at all + scanless.
- "Was able to harm Toffee from the past with her laser eyes" this was actually soul manipulation + scanless.
- "Should be capable of similar, if not the same feats as the Royal Magic Wand, as she can dip down, which allows one to use magic without a wand in a way that might be better than if they had a wand" is wrong, there is no proof that her dip down converses to Attack Potency as it is just soul hax.
- Speed is scanless and is not divided in keys.
- Lifting Strength is scanless and is not divided in keys, also why is that Superhuman, I'm pretty sure strong people tear through a door.
- Durability in scanless. Baby Meteora has no Butterfly form that she can do on her own.
- Stamina and Range are not bolded.
- Intelligence is not bolded and is scanless.
- "[[Category:Unknown Tier]" is absolute cinema.
Marco Diaz
- Safe Kid, Earth Turd are names, not classifications.
- All of his PnA is completely unjustified or scanless.
- Attack Potency section is mostly scanless.
- Injuring Meteora is outlier unless you want to say that Marco > magic of Queen of the entire Mewni.
- Speed is scanless.
- None of the Attack Potency section is High 8-C level stuff. That explosion was 9-A and the second one should be 9-B at best.
- There is no reason to scale him to Ludo's minions in Lifting Strength, they easily restrict him.
- Durability section is not remotely 9-A stuff, and the actual things that could justify 9-A are either assumptions or scanless.
- Why is he suddenly much faster in Season 3 onwards?
- "Could use the Royal Magic Wand for defensive purposes" is not durability.
- "High" Stamina is not a formal rating.
- Range is neither bolded nor scanned.
- Marco surviving 16 years in Hekapoo's dimension is legit Gifted-Genius Battle IQ.
- "but he doesn't remember his time there unless reminded of it" is wrong. Whoever wrote that did not watch the show.
Royal Magic Wand
- Has no justification for High 8-C Attack Potency.
- Why does it have Tier 5 feats in Attack
- "It should not be weaker than the physique of River Butterfly" is very assumptuous.
- It has some scans for Varies and 3-A AP (which is pretty bad for the same reasons as I mentioned in Star's profile), but other than that, is very lacking in scans.
River Butterfly
- PnA is completely unjustified.
- Speed scan does not give what it states (10 mi/min).
- Striking Strength is unjustified.
- Durability hyperlink is dead.
- "Very high" is not a formal Stamina tier.
- Range is not bolded.
- Is pretty empty overall.
Omnitraxus Prime
- PnA is completely unjustified.
- Why is everything basically just "Unknown"?
- Why does he scale to Sub-Relativistic by scaling to Hekapoo if Hekapoo herself is Hypersonic?
- Why does he even "powerscale" to Hekapoo?
- Why is he Nigh-Omnipresent within his pocket dimension if it is never shown to be the case?
- "At his full size, it either contains a galaxy and stars and planets around it, or said celestial bodies are the the size of a building, there are other cases where they appear to be fake" this is actually about his avatar which looks different. His real self does not have these celestial bodies or galaxy fake.
- Why is his Lifting Strength "possibly Galactic" if the profile thinks the Galaxy within him is fake?
- Why is his Stamina "Likely Infinite"? Scanless.
- Why is his Range "At least Universal+"? Scanless.
- It's borderline comparable to profiles who will be in the section of "Terrible profiles".
All of the profiles below are, quite literally, scanless.
- Mina Loveberry (by the way, just being the greatest warrior ever wouldn't scale her base, as she was greatest warrior due to her transformation - that's the whole thing of hers)
- Globgor (the funny part is that he does not even have solid ratings, just "Varies" for everything)
- Glossaryck (I will just say that his stamina section is wrong, as he almost always pretends whenever he does anything. That's easy to tell if you watched the show)
- Hekapoo (Range looks rather weird)
- Ludo (except for him possessing half a wand. Also why does this guy scale to 8-C with Magic due to being in the same league as Star, if Star herself is High 8-C lmao)
- Rhombulus (him being rated as Genius and stating that he has knowledge over variety of spells is just funny, he is regarded as one of the dumbest characters in the verse, and he never learned any spell, at least was not stated to having done so)
- Buff Frog (again, why does he scale to 8-C with reasoning being scaling to Star and Marco when the two are actually High 8-C)
- Lekmet (the guy who did basically nothing in the series except for healing others getting High 8-C ratings without any proper reasoning is actually funny)
- Box of Truth (scanless except one dead link, and is a remnant of old Low 2-C scaling that no-one bothered to correct. Also it's funny how his name is "Box of Truth,")
- Tom Lucitor
Conclusion
Dead verse, no supporters are alive either, profiles are very poorly formatted, ratings are incorrect or self-contradictory/unexplained, profiles contain false or inaccurate information, and do not have actual links to justify other informations, the chainscaling is very inconsistent, more than half of profiles are just scanless, the best profiles would at best get a "D" grade on the exam...Yeah, just axe it.
