Deltarune: Chapter 5 (SPOILER!!) Discussion Thread

Narratively speaking, the Flowers being on par with a Titan is still weird, no? Only Flowery screws with Dark World rules to get super duper strong, the other Flowers were just born that strong. Like why are they leagues and beyond stronger than say Neo or GIGA Queen?
"
Kris, I suppose I owe you an explanation about all this. No, you no doubt have realized yourself by now...
The Shadow Crystals are far more than mere pieces of glass. In actuality, they contain a certain power.
You could call this the power of "will".
... no, perhaps "will" isn't right. The power they contain is...
The power of lost dreams.
When a strong attachment is formed... when a dream is gripped tightly... and then broken off. These... are the shards that remain.
"
Asgore lost his family due to accident. Everything he valued was lost. Flowers prolly acquired quite a bit of lost dreams all that time Asgore was venting on them

I think the flowers literally absorved asgore determinetion both metaphysicaly, mentally and physically
Anyway.

Prism:
Prisms can be made from any material that is transparent to the wavelengths for which they are designed. Typical materials include glass, acrylic and fluorite.

It can be used to break white light up into its constituent spectral colors (the colors of the rainbow) to form a spectrum. Other types of prisms can be used to reflect light, or to split light into components with different polarizations

Blow:
A gust of wind

This is is probally what the shadow crystals is about:

In the sun size calc, besides the whole thing of the sun being real or not, was rejected by daleSean (not like he has priority over psychomaster to reject it, but the whole thing goes for a proper CRT/CGM thread with already well investigated arguments, instead of a bunch of people talking it in a blog) using the 372x from it staying the same size in the cliffs to the castle

No page in the wiki says not using it, but it does seems to fit in what would be considered "inconsistent pixel scaling", as it would inflate results, so yeah he's right about it

The other way to calc it by most people opinion is comparing it to the mountains, as unlike the clouds, the never seem to be behind the sun, and even a mountain can be seen in front of the castle (and the mountains background change form the cliffs to the castle), with the castle being straight up shown to be closer to the cliffs than the sun is

I'd use this frame:

Where we see less detailed mountains (less colors) to compare it to the sun, the sun could be much farther than something like 10km from the cliffs, but at most it could be calced this way without several steps of pixel scaling

What y'all think?, tomorrow I could calc it

I'd say that the mountains would serve as a low end for the size of the sun (and Dark World) so it would be nice to have it calculated

After that, I think the best thing to do would be to create a CRT to determine the correct way to calculate the size of the sun (and the DW); otherwise, we'll just be going around in circles doing a lot of calculations on the same thing without reaching a conclusion. But if you want to calc it
