i'll type out a more fleshed out response later when i get the chance but some quick notes

miyabi upscales from 10.68 kilotons for her AP and 1,313 tons for her LS
tanjiro scales to 29.33 kilotons for his AP and scales higher with his demon slayer mark. he's class 25 normally and class K with his demon slayer mark

both are basically upscaling from their base AP values, but tanjiro does have roughly a 2.7x AP advantage. idk what tanjiro's exact LS value is but miyabi does have the LS advantage, plus she also upscales from her LS value

both have enhanced senses, but tanjiro's should be better overall seeing as his insanely cracked sense of smell gives him nutty stuff like clairvoyance and analytical prediction

miyabi is a more experienced swordfighter than tanjiro but tanjiro's skill has been compared to people with 5 or 10 years worth of training. both are basically sword prodigies although tanjiro has stuff like his aforementioned analytical prediction as well as things like info analysis to give him the edge. miyabi's LS advantage will help out when it comes to things like sword clashes though, although the AP disadvantage also hurts her

both have ways to stat amp themselves as the fight progresses but tanjiro's seems more reliable with stuff like RPL and his various techniques to amplify his stats further. it means he can likely better maintain his AP advantage and make it so that miyabi can't close the gap with her own stat boosting options

illusion creation will trip miyabi up especially with her enhanced senses and good eyesight

both have SW but tanjiro's is enhanced and he's generally been shown to be able to fight through pain and injuries way more than miyabi has

miyabi should be able to resist battle spirit and i don't think she'll get immediately aura diffed thanks to her resistance to ether corruption which also includes fear manip

miyabi does have a pretty massive range advantage so if she feels pressured in close range she can retreat to long range and fire off ranged slashes

tanjiro doesn't resist miyabi's ice manip, which means miyabi should be able to hamper him down with her status effects and debuff him

spatial manip is obviously an instant wincon (though miyabi has to charge up and actually land the attack on tanjiro)

just at a surface level inspection i would say tanjiro probably has more advantages here so i think i'd lean more towards him but don't count this as me fully casting my vote for him yet, i'd like to see more args if possible

Since Tanjiro already starts with the Demon Slayer Mark activated he can no longer use that as a stat boost.
His Rage Power would also be unusable since there would be no reason for him to get angry here.
It's noted in his Reactive Power Level that he grows faster when facing an opponent who's stronger than him. With that said, since Tanjiro is the stronger one among the two his Reactive Power Level probably won't be as effective as it normally is.
Tanjiro's Total Concentration Breathing would no longer count as a stat amp at this point in the story since this has become a part of his default state.
So overall Tanjiro would only have access to 3 things that can boost his stats. Tenth Form: Constant Flux(Power Boost), Hinokami Kagura(Speed and Power Boost), and Dancing Flash(Speed Boost).
illusion creation will trip miyabi up especially with her enhanced senses and good eyesight
Tanjiro's Illusion Creation is noted to only fool one's sight so Miyabi would still be capable of sensing him with her smell and hearing, on top of her having Instinctive Action as well.

fair enough to all those points. tanjiro still does have the general AP advantage, and the speed boosts he can give himself are going to help a lot especially in an equalized speed scenario. miyabi doesn't have any ways of boosting her speed, so it's definitely possible she could get caught off guard by tanjiro's sudden bursts of speed

does tanjiro still have the stamina weakness while using the DS mark in this key? if using the mark for prolonged periods of time eats away at his stamina miyabi might just be able to wear him down long enough for it to run out and then snag an easy W from there

i do still feel like i'm leaning more towards tanjiro here. the AP gap is pretty substantial and miyabi's basically gonna have to play catchup if she wants to have any chance of closing it with her own stat boosting options. a single attack from tanjiro is going to hurt very bad if it lands on her, especially given the two are going to immediately start off engaging in close quarters. miyabi's experience is kinda just rendered moot by tanjiro's own skill plus stuff like his aforementioned info analysis and analytical prediction. tanjiro also has ways of boosting his speed unlike miyabi, so it's very possible he can just catch her off guard with one of his speed boosting forms and get her with a lethal attack. miyabi's best bet is to abuse her range advantage by immediately falling back the second she realizes she's outclassed in strength, but i think by the time she does that she'll likely already have taken some pretty bad hits as a result of the AP disadvantage. plus, tanjiro can always just catch up to her with his aforementioned speed boosting options to ensure she doesn't maintain the range advantage. the freezing will hamper tanjiro down but i don't think it'll be enough to completely stop him, especially given how much pain he can take and how much he can fight through with his SW.

i'll cast a vote for tanjiro for now. i think he just has more going for him here
