cheap is subjective tbf. There's many other cheap abilities like Infinity, or insta-win speed amps, etc.

infinity can get bypassed in so many ways, and speed amps actually involve the character using some kind of move. in this case, fear haxing your opponent by existing is incredibly cheap by comparison.

In so many ways by abilities that are overpowered. You can also bypass fear hax with overpowered abilities such as acausality or really any physiology that makes you uninteractable. I agree it's less fun to fear hax an opponent to death or smth tho.

as a kny supporter i think its overplayed. it's been namedropped once, used only a handful of times throughout the series, resisted a handful of times, yet it's an insta-win even for the weakest characters.

Honestly if Armstrong wasn't two tiers above these guys he'd be a great opponent for Demon Slayer since his physiology negs Battle Spirit hax and his nanomachines outright shutting off any capacity for fear. It's how he got past the Naruto Shinobi bloodlust aura crap.
