DMC Speed Revision - Implementing a Calculation

Just applying this calc blog, which is already accepted. Was advised to look into this feat by Agnaa, here.

Note that demons in DMC use a universal energy system of demonic energy, powering all abilities including physical power. Mundus and Dante had an all-out battle right after this involving both of them reacting to each other's projectiles and harming each other with physical attacks.

This would just apply a calculated finite FTL speed level to the top few characters so that we actually have a speed calc. Pretty sure we'd just be swapping the "unknown" for MFTL+ and linking this blog.



Result:

It would simply be MFTL+ for the speed rating.

It would apply to Mundus, Argosax, Abigail, Chen, Pluto, Beastheads, Sparda, Dante with the Sparda sword and then from the anime onwards, Urizen, Vergil from DMC5, and Nero from DMC5.

I am aware that there is a scan in the blog that says the dimension "spreads to infinity". This citation is there to support it being the size of a real universe, nothing more. Please refrain from bringing up infinite or immeasurable speed discussions here.

This calculation seems fairly straightforward. I'm not sure how it can get any less unambiguous then the affects of Mundus's creation expanding outwards this quickly.

I don't think this necessarily is a good explanation since it still wouldn't explain them scaling to it.
Obviously the speed of the universe expanding is quadrillions of times FTL, but not the characters themselves, attack speed if you will.

Also, the universe is infinitely expanding (not that it's infinite, just that it's expanding forever) much like our real universe. We can't know if the expansion reached the diameter of the universe since there's nothing that implies it. Due to this, I think the 459.5 Billion FTL is much more feasible.

Look into the video carefully, you can clearly see a wave that formed the universe with stars appearing on the back after Mundus flapped his wings. That should scale to attack speed bare minimum which a common sense imply that they scale to as they are literally dodging attacks on such speed left and right.

That makes no sense because it literally stated to be a "universe" in the Precious Tears Memorial Album so it should atleast have a diameter of the observable universe.

Actually I'm willing to agree but because of another reason. If you go to the minute 2:37, you can actually see Dante briefly moving before the wave even hits him. If he was, say, only FTL this would be impossible and he would've been hit instantly in his POV. This means that his reaction should downscale to it. Also no, Dante did not react to Mundus flapping his wings since if you slow down the video, you can see the warping effect around him as the wave gets closer.

An universe can have a lot of sizes. Billions of years ago our universe had a smaller size than the observable universe, yet it was still a universe. Billions of years later, our universe will have a bigger size than the observable universe, yet it will still be a universe.

Him reacting or not doesn't matter because it wasn't an attack dedicated to him but Mundus creating a battleground for their fight so Idk what's the point of arguing about it anymore. It's the closest we can go upto an actual interpretation of their speed in general.

Occam's razor suggests that the simplest explanation is usually the best. Given that the observable universe is the only portion we can measure and confirm, it's more reasonable to refer to it as the universe rather than making assumptions about an unobservable whole.

An universe can have a lot of sizes. Billions of years ago our universe had a smaller size than the observable universe, yet it was still a universe. Billions of years later, our universe will have a bigger size than the observable universe, yet it will still be a universe.

1point is irrelevant since it is accepted that the feat scales to overall speed before.Also it down scaling won’t even matter because if the speed difference was or un-scalable he would have been blitzed. Also it is more so due to the fact that the movement controls are rather slow in that scene.
2- the default assumption when something is stated to be a universe will be our current observable universe.Wether or not could that universe be either larger or smaller depends on if there is a further context.
 
It already applies to attack speed which they are comparable to. Dante reacting to it only makes it clearer.
 
Two approvals, so does that mean we wait for 24 hours to apply it? I won't be able to apply it for another day anyway.

According to the rules two staff approvals is sufficient.

I don’t get it, how is that a speed feat that scales to characters if it’s just how fast the dimension expanded? Did someone react to this expansion somehow? I’m not seeing it in the video.

For a stat buff like this and a franchise with a big following in the versus community, it’s preferable you get 3 staff votes at bare minimum.
