I’m pretty sure I remember ballista being stated to be ineffective against possessed demons

For the tyrants I go with the
Ice Bomb+BFG+Ballista+SSG Combo

I kept dying whenever I reached the part with Barons so I went with hurt me plenty difficulty and spammed the rocket launcher till he went away but it felt like such a cheap victory

Nah ballista good against everything, insanely high single shot damage, and you need to maximize your dps to take them out fast basically, weapon switching is the best way for it

"Big Gaming Trio" is kind of loose; there are a lot of game verses out there popular among the battle boarding community. And also attract a lot of people who overplay the verse. But I do think Doomguy being called "The Saitama of video game protagonists" has been a common trend since DOOM 2016.

It just depends on whether you take the statement of hell literal, then yes DOOM can be scaled to Outer.

It's very probable for the verse to scale a lot higher in the future, considering that there's a being beyond the void in DOOM, basically a character that transcends the
void, with the void being above the concepts of space / time itself, which makes the void itself outer and the character that scales / transcends the void even higher.

Either way, don't be surprised if 1-A DOOM becomes a thing

Too soon to give a full review, but so far find it better than 2016 but not quite as good as Eternal. Which is what I heard most YouTubers who got to play the game early concluded.

Mission 5 so far, game feels great, equal to DOOM Eternal currently , might become better at the end.

I just like the general tank playstyle, everything you do feels heavy

Nightmare difficulty is quite hard, and im doing 100% completion
The ancestrals on Argent D'nur are insanely huge tho, like Ancalagon the Black huge, maybe even larger
