Just a few.

Illusion Creation: Can create holograms of himself in order to distract enemies.

Teleportation: Via Personal Teleporter.

Explosion Manipulation: Easy enough, he has explosives.

Electricity Manipulation: Has a gun that shoots electricity.

Energy Projection: His weapons manipulate several different forms of energy.

Fire Manipulation: Some weapons can be set to incendiary rounds (Hellshot, for example).

Armor Piercing: Some weapons like the Heavy Assault Rifle pierce armor.

Double Jump: Canonically uses rockets to achieve double jump.

Magnetism Manipulation: The Gauss Rifle fires metal spikes at immense speeds to impale enemies via magnet technology.

Aura: Gauss Cannon shots deal damage to those around them, too. It has an AOE effect to it. Siphon Grenade also takes up some amount of aura.

Dunno what power this would be, but the Gas Grenade can create a concealing Smoke Grenade.

Pseudo-Flight: Lateral thrusters grant pseudo-flight.

Soul Manipulation: The Reaper fires tortured souls for ammo.

Forcefield Creation: Via Shield Wall. He makes a shield wall. Self explanatory.

Healing: Siphon grenade heals the user. Also there is a powerup that heals people.

Enhanced Senses: Via Threat Sensor and Threat Pulse. It detects enemies.

Rage Power: Berserk Sphere. Read up.

''Test subjects exposed to this sphere exhibit extreme rage and increased strength. It has been noted that subjects given the Berserk sphere will vent their rage on any living creature they can find, and will even self-harm if they have no outlet for their fury. In the extremely rare case that a subject survives exposure, they will be left in a perpetual state of delirium and should be exterminated.

Seems like Rage Power to me.

Invisibility: I distinctly remember the ability to go invisible via power up, though it has been awhile since I played.

I think that's it.
 
EDIT: Yep, Invisibility is granted through a power up called Blur Sphere.
 
These sound pretty good, but which games do each power up appear in.
 
These are for Doomslayer specifically, DOOM 2016. I'm less familiar with the older games (played them but not recently).
 
Weapons and Gadgets from Multiplayer aren't canon and Doomguy hasnt shown to wield them.

Electricity, Fire, Pseudo Flight, Rage Power, Hologram, Magnetism, Double Armor and Piercing Rounds are fine.
 
Oh yeah, multiplayer weapons should preferably be avoided yes; we should also remove the abilities and equipment that came from Doom 3, since that Doomguy's a different character.
 
Should we just add a new key for Doom 3? Never played it after hearing how bad it was but still. Even if it isn't canon to the other Doomguys, it is A Doomguy.

(Also shit sorry didn't know multiplayer wasn't canon, just thought it was a training sim with the same gear that UAC normally has).
 
The Doom Marine from Doom 3 should have a seperate profile since he's a different character entirely.
 
Doomguy and Doomslayer are different characters and they share a profile. Just saying.
 
Doomslayer is the same character as the Classic Doomguy, just from the future. Doom 2016 was hinted to be a direct sequel to Doom 64 iirc.
 
If you say so. I don't remember that being implied but I don't really care if Doom Marine is a separate profile.
 
The non multiplayer stuff is fine.

Is it worth using stuff from the Doom Eternal gameplay now, or wait till full release?
 
Probably best to wait, might be more stuff and we can just add it as one bulk update.
 
the double jump seems to game mechanicy to be an actual ability. The rest seems fine.
 
It has a canonical explanation though.
 
Some abilities can be added to Doomguy's tab, if they're not already their that is:

  • Invisibility
  • Energy Projection
  • Explosion Manipulation
  • Rage Power
  • Healing (With med kits and armour drops)
  • Enhanced senses(?) with the map/automap.
 
Been a while, but this was already agreed a while back, but finally got around to this and things mentioned on other threads. Closing this now.
