Downscaling question.

Character A is baseline 3-A. Character B fought Character A and lost, A noted that B put up a good fight but he's weaker than him. Would B scale to 3-B+?

Assuming B scales to 3-B+. Another character, C, fought B and lost. C put up a good fight but he's still weaker, does C remain in 3-B+ or would he be downscaled even further to 3-B?

Also no, B would scale to baseline 3-A, as the "good fight" indicates that they are comparable and there is no overwhelmingly big gap between the two. C would also be in the same ball-park.
