Dragon Ball characters usually don't have many LS feats but that doesn't mean they're physically weak.

Ki blasts can destroy/vaporize objects in contact but they can also exert pressure and move objects with that pressure:

And the more energy they have, the stronger the force they can exert, as it is the case with the Spirit Bomb:

Notice how Goku uses the word "crush" to describe the effects of the Spirit Bomb.
Crush (verb)

definition: compress or squeeze forcefully so as to break, damage, or distort in shape.

example: "the front of his car was crushed in the collision"
 
Flash Fact: Strangely enough, despite not yielding mass, energy can generate momentum!
An energy blast pushing a person who can also interact with said energy back is not proof that Ki has mass or anything like that. The characters are reacting to the momentum of the energy — a combination of the energy within the blast itself and its velocity.
