Wasn't Goku casually taking on restrained Broly in base who had the Multi-solar system feat? Shouldn't Goku be ridiculously above baseline?

The SS Broly that Goku was fighting was not serious nor enraged, Goku was able to draw a little of blood from him, but Broly was not even trying. Once Broly went fully serious/enraged he tanked attacks from Post Second Room Training Grade 2 SS Vegeta and Goku was going to use MSS against him, Goku is 4-A in Base only in Fusion Reborn and Wrath of the Dragon.
 
Base Goku is stronger than SSJ Vegeta. Base Gohan takes on an unrestrained SSJ Broly in M10.
 
That reminds me, they can create Forcefields in the filler (Like when Gohan created one against Broly)

That said, didn't Gohan get one shotted the moment SSJ Broly casually fired a ki blast, even with forcefield on.
 
I'm rewatching the fight now, yeah Gohan did not have the upper hand in the fight. It literally took a kick and then one ki blast to completely mess up Gohan even after he put on a forcefield
 
Gohan didn't even have a scratch on him after that ki blast. Although that fight was a lot shorter than I remembered and Gohan went SSJ right before Broly transformed instead of after.
 
No scratches? Check the fight again, there is literally a giant scratch on his face from the blast, and few other ones all over his body, not to mention his clothes slightly damaged.
 
Oh right, there's some marks on his face. But that's still completely insignificant damage.

...Had it not been for the fact that he had created a forcefield blocking out a signficant chunk of that damage.
 
The forcefield came from his ki so he'd scale regardless. Besides, his showing was much better than SSJ Vegeta whose attacks Broly didn't even bother acknowledging.

Broly didn't bother acknowledging them because he was fixated on Goku being right in front of him.
 
It negated enough damage to leave him mostly unharmed.

Base Goku also keeps up with Weighted Pikkon who effortlessly stomped Cell who in turn destroyed SSJ Vegeta easily.

Goku was better than him back in the Cell Arc too. You arrive at this conclusion even if you ignore the feats.

According to GT the SSJ multiplier isn't much higher than 2x since Rilldo tells Goku he wasn't even using half his power when he transforms. MSSJ Goku was much stronger than Grade 3 Trunks with only half his power, his base wouldn't be much weaker than that so he'd still be Vegeta's superior.

Vegeta probably surpassed Base Goku after his second trip to the RoSAT but going by the Broly and Pikkon fights he still ended up weaker than him anyway.
 
Actually in Toei canon, the multiplier is a lot higher. Even False SSJ > Kaio-ken x 100 if Lord Slug is anything to go by.

How does MSSJ Goku >> USSJ Trunks = Base Goku >>> ASSJ Vegeta?...
