An aside, I don't know why Eida has a possible rating for her AP
The only way she'll be superior to Jigen is via her stats since her love charm ability doesn't work on the Otsutsuki
Heck, her statement seems to be regarding skill rather than power since she says she can perform simple taijutsu

Even if Makima tries to control Ada, she wouldn't be able to due to Ada's ability, if anything, I see Makima removing her control effect due to Ada's manipulation.

Unironically yes..but it wouldnt really benefit Eida in a meaningful way because, it would just make Eida Makima's pawn but Makima herself would love and give Eida attention based on a controlled Eida's desire (similar to Kawaki), who will reinforce Makima's control .

The Reverse is true as well.

It's really not. Makima can control her passive. Adas entire character is based around her inability to control hers.
They both get caught in each others passives but Makima is forced to turn off hers and give up, meanwhile Ada legit can't do anything about hers. Even if Makima couldn't turn off her passive she will become Adas slave without any ability to actually utilize her control so regardless of how Makimas hax work here, Ada comes out on top.

Definitely voting Ada here.

why are you acting as if either power of theirs is this on and off switch where they lose autonomy. Shikamaru was less than a meter from Eida and even though he was feeling the side effects like strain, he was very much able to temporary use shadow paralysis on her because it "didnt count" as an attack as well as take part of Ino's jutsu where he could formulate a plan of attack even if he wasn't able to physically act on it in the moment

also Ada not being able to control her power doesn't mean anything if its a byproduct of her personality. something being subconscious isnt the same as being entirely divorced

It's not? She doesn't use it subconsciously, she's not using it at all. She literally just rewrote reality to where this happens, this being impossible to turn off is legit her entire motivation.

Makima isnt even human to being with, and is the literal embodiment of humankinds collective fear of control.

A. Makima would not have been part of the world that was warped at the time, because she isnt a boruto character, this is the equivalent of saying a random person from another fictional universe would be effected by Omnipotence memory swap after its initial usage in chapter 80.

there are different applications, imitation and binding are two separate jutsu, also it would be irrelevant regardless because the imitation application requires the user to be able to move themselves, which shikamaru was not able to do.
