Shifuto could probably do a lot of damage with his lightning, considering that it would light the sucker on fire, which would help a lot with his AP to Dura disadvantage.

Of course, the Vinetrapper is a bit resistant to fire, and if Shifuto tires out before he can get rid of the thing for good, it'll mean trouble.

So the only thing the plant can do is counterattack trying to impale Shifuto or with other abilites. I think the sleep gas might work if shifuto tries to breath it, because the moment he falls asleep, the plant will try to impale Shifuto since it will make him fall to the ground and the plant will immediately detect it.
