Elemental Intangibility from being an element

Does being made of a element like Air, Fire, or Water grant Elemental Intangibility? Asking cause I was talking to a friend if D&D's magic would bypass logias then I noticed D&D's elementals like the Water Weird don't have Elemental Intangibility listed

Yes, all of D&D is just outdated atm.

you would need to find a way to attack their true body, their element bodies are separated from their true physical one. Damaging their elemental bodies does nothing to their real body

One way is by force changing the priorities of their elemental body where they solidifiy, enabling your hit/attack getting transferred to their real body

Does hurting an element via physical/magical attacks (not using it's natural weakness like using water against fire) mean you bypass elemental intangibility or is it only non-physical interaction?

it would be non-physical interaction only if you can damage/interact with elemental beings


in logia's case you would need elemental intangibility negation (Removing/bypassing their elemental body to hit/damage their real one)

If the psychic/mental attacks doesn't require to first select/target ones actual body or mind, it would normally work

As in... Some mental attacks requires you to for example look at the opponents brain/head or know their location to affect it (like for example sending a signal with your brain ------ to affect their brain) (here's one example of what I mean)

An elemental body has neither of those, making it basically impossible to mentally attack them while they are in their elemental bodies, which depends on the function of ones psychic attack
