Say, is Ender Lillies that much of a Hollow Knight imitation? I got that feeling at first too, but when looking into it, a lot of the elements it uses, like a supernatural plague, a ruined kingdom, piecing the story by finding bits of lore and all that are common in Souls-like games.

Having played both I don't feel like its the same as hollow knight really like ofc maybe on the surface there are similarities in the type of game but Lilies yeah I'd say could be considered similarly to souls in the way the lore is delivered

It's pretty blatantly deliberately working off Hollow Knight.
Hollow Knight itself works off other stuff though like obviously Souls, so Ender itself ends up having overlap with Souls, but Ender Lillies is pretty obviously imitating Hollow Knight to a degree.
Obviously there's differences, and stuff it does different to set it apart, but all the same.

Not that it's a bad thing mind you.

Bumpaga, because why not.

Finished Ender Magnolia and I agree with the sentiment with many players. It's a big step up gameplay wise, but the plot isn't as tight as the first one, ironically precise because it's bigger and more ambitious. Still loved the everloving frig out of it and the music is fantastic as usual.

It does answer the big unanswered question of the first game: what is the Blight.

The art direction of the games if one of its strongest points. Everything looks absolutely gorgeous. I know many people would say that shouldn't be held up with so much importance, but honestly, between the beautiful visuals and the incredible music the game feels so good to play even when there is such harsh competition of amazing Metroidvanias out there.

Chariot mentioned he had calcs for Lilac, the main character of the second game. So I guess it's possible to start working on her. Helps that aside the Blight which has some obscure stuff here and there, most of the games are pretty straightforward with the powers and such.

That and hundreds of other clips.

The problem is I just got way to much being worked on. I have clips for everything, I have some calcs, I have basically everything to "make" the profile in its entirety, I just haven't ad time to "put it together", if that makes sense. Like it'll happen eventually, but that eventually ain't going to be till after more important projects.

Yeah, I get what you mean. And don't worry, I figured you were doing a lot of things at once (the detailed Zelda revisions you've mentioned a couple of times and if your signature is to go by, Metal Gear stuff, among other things).

I can try to put something for Lilac in the meantime. While my research is mid at best and downright stupid at worst, I can make decent looking profiles at the very least.
