What is the energy (in joules) needed to slag 1 cubic metre of rock? Or if you wish, you can give the energy (in joules) needed to slag 1 kg of rock.

Sorry to ask, but what is "slagging", exactly? (I'm bad at english)
If it is what I think it is (The stony residues from separating ore from rock), I think there isn't a feasible way to scale it, unless the process involves heat.

Then it depends on the type of rock. Assuming granite, which should be pretty reasonable, it'd take 4350 J/cc to do it.
All that needs to be done is multiplying it by 1.000.000, and the result is 4.350.000.000 joules. Now, I haven't checked the AP page, but I believe that's either Room or Building level.
