Hello, to whom it may concern, I’m Epyriel and I would like to apply for the position of Calculation Group Member.

==Overview==​

I have been a contributing member on-site for over two years, over which course I have spent a significant amount of time writing calculations, contributing on various threads especially on matters concerning calculation methods, aiding and giving advice for the efforts of others in their own calculations both on and off site, as well as creating and contributing to several staff and CGM threads across different calc-adjacent matters. Which has contributed to me being recommended for this role previously by Antvasima.

==Prior Work==​

==Professional Qualifications==​

I hold an Honours Astrophysics degree from the University of Waterloo, and am an experienced math and physics tutor. I have been a multi-year lead as student representative for the Physics and Astronomy program and in that role have amassed substantial experience breaking down the effectiveness of educational methods for the promotion of physics. I also have experience in the application of math and physics in practice by interning in an aerospace component R&D lab making electron tubes for satellite signal amplifiers.

==Conclusion==​

I’ve read all the calculation guide pages, and have interacted with essentially every common calculation method used on-site. I’m pretty active and feel like I would make a good fit for the role.
