Welp it's been a while, but back at it with another revision for part 3 of the Fabula Nova Crystalis (XIII & Type-0) cosmology revision. This revision dives into the History and Mythos of the species of FF13 and T0 that both stories center around. Hopefully this will be the last major hax addition thread that I do for this, but we'll see. First of all I want to give big shoutouts to @TartaChocholate for giving me advice on certain aspects and being a great friend. @Eseseso for helping me out with scans to identify hax along with gathering stuff about a cosmology, even if he had no experience with it (really appreciate that man, thank you so much), and @HST_Master for introducing me to information entries in Type-0 that I didn't even know existed before this. Here's some music to listen to. Without further ado, let's begin.

What is a L'Cie and Fal'Cie?
L'Cie's are normal beings (usually humans) who have been marked with a brand somewhere on their bodies. While Fal'Cie's are supernatural, crystal powered mechanical deities that govern the society of the lands they rule over, and are the very beings that brand people to become L'Cie.

A L'Cie's brand contain crystal shards which in turn grant the gift of magic to those who cannot use it naturally as well as increasing one's physical and magical prowess. However, this power comes at a price. All L'Cie's who have been branded are also given something called a "Focus", which is a task that needs to be fulfilled under the orders of the Fal'Cie who branded them within a time frame. This task is vaguely shown to the L'Cie via a vision of the future. Depending on whether one completes the task, or fails to do so within the unspecified amount of time will "usually" result in one of two outcomes.

Fate of a L'Cie and Brand Progression
Depending on whether the L'Cie succeeds or fails their given task. This results in one of two destines.

While all seems lost for a L'Cie, damned if you do complete your focus and damned if you don't. In very rare instances, a L'Cie brand is capable of being "Scorched Out", which turns the brand itself white. What this means is that the L'Cie in question is no longer under the influence of the Fal'Cie. As such they keep their powers, but are no longer required to complete a "Focus". As such they are no longer in danger of either turning into crystal, or becoming a Cieth. This as per the lore states to be "Turning your back on your Fate", the best possible outcome. This is not hyperbole as it stated numerous times throughout the different games that Fal'Cie's have the power to alter and control destiny.

L'Cie and Cie'th Stones
Shoutout to @HST_Master for sending me these. L'Cie Stones are shards of a L'Cie who is in crystal stasis from successfully completing their focus. Contained within these crystals are the final thoughts and memories of the crystallized L'Cie and their experiences. These will be important later. On the flip side, Cie'th have their own forms of stones which work slightly differently.

When a Cie'th's energy runs dry, their bodies slowly fossilize, turning them into a crystalline tombstone known as a Cie'th Stone. In this state, Cie'th in question are literally immobile and cannot do anything. Their only course of action is to ask a still living L'Cie to complete their focus for them, as becoming immobile does not put an end to their misery.

As such we've covered two different types of Cie'th: Regular Cie'th, and Cie'th stones. Their exists one more kind of Cie'th known as Undying. As the name implies, this type of Cie'th is different from the normal Cie'th in the sense where as the latter will eventually run out of energy and become immobilized, the former can act forever out sheer instinct just based on the sheer hatred of when they were previously alive.

Who are the Fal'Cie's?
As mentioned before, Fal'Cie's are supernatural deities that govern the society of the lands they rule over, and are the very beings that brand people to become L'Cie. While a Fal'Cie have their abilities upscaled from L'Cie due to being the one's who brand them, not all Fal'Cie's are created equal. Some are clearly being better than others. Even going as far as the Higher-Fal'Cie Deities being able to produce and control lower level Fal'Cie's.

In the beginning before mankind's creation. Their existed one female Fal'Cie deity named Mwynn, this woman gave birth to her child known as "Bhunivelze". Bhunivelze is stated to be the strongest above all Fal'Cie deities, and all beings in general, which is true...apart from one exception, which we'll get too later. Bhunivelze killed his mother and created three other deities as his servants, these servants became "Pulse", "Lindzei", and "Etro". These are the ones above all other Fal'Cie Deities and are worshipped as such by all other Fal'Cie's and people alike.

Arecia Al Rashia is a major character from Final Fantasy Type-0. She is the direct creation and servant of one of the Big Four Fal'Cie mentioned above, "Pulse". Her opposite is named "Gala". A male Fal'Cie who serves as the servant of "Lindzei", another one of the big 4 mentioned above. As such, they're comparable, but ultimately beneath their creators. Arecia is stated to be capable of Creating and Controlling other Fal'Cie and as her equal, Gala should be able to do the same. This would put them one step above lower Fal'Cie's deities, while not quite reaching the levels of the four mentioned above.

The Fal'Cie, "Gala" is also known as the "Rursan Arbiter". In the World of Type-0, the event known as "Tempus Finis" commences when "Gala", chooses a host to take possession over. That person then becomes the "Rursan Arbiter", inheriting Gala's status and make up as a Fal'Cie. This means that those who have been chosen as the "Rursan Arbiter" inherit the physiology and make up of a "Fal'Cie" comparable to the likes of Arecia and Gala themselves as evident by them having control over beings known as "Rursus" which are born from the Rursan Arbiter. In this case, this would apply to three people: Ace, Rem, and Cid Alstyum.

It's already been accepted and established, but it bears repeating. "The Crystals" in the cosmology of XIII & Type-0 known as "Fabula Nova Crystalis" are stated to share the same mythology as "The Crystals" of that of the classic era games (1-6), with them representing souls, divinity, and "The Origin of Magic", the "origin of magic" being a direct reference to this guy. Now you may be thinking, why is this important? Because the crystals in the cosmology of Fabula Nova are confirmed to be Fal'Cie's as well created by Arecia. As such, The Fal'Cie crystals should be on par with lower level Fal'Cie deities such as Barthandelus. Meaning that the abilities of low tier Fal'Cie's would scale backwards. More on this later.

Orphan is the Final Boss of Final Fantasy XIII (13), naturally he is the strongest Fal'Cie on the world of Coccoon which puts him above lower tier Fal'Cie's such as Barthandelus. Orphan's true form resides in and is tied to a place known as "Orphan's Cradle". An entire reality of data that can be materialized into physical matter. Most importantly however, it's said to exist "Between Dream and Reality". Such a statement is similar to that of Persona's Velvet Room Attendees as well as Marvel's Astral Forms of "Between Being & Non Being". As such, Orphan doesn't conventionally exist.

However, Orphan's statement is not the only occurrence of such a thing. Bhunivelze himself also a statement of his existence "Not being tied to reality". Meaning that this is not a rare occurrence, but a common trait shared among higher Fal'Cie deities. In regards to Arecia and Gala, they are direct creations and servants of two of "The One's Above All", and are capable of creating and controlling other Fal'Cie Deities which include the Crystals. Meaning they would likely scale from Orphan as well.

Orphan's Cradle as a reality made of data that is still defined by the "Heart" and "Soul". Both of which are accepted as being conceptual as per previous revisions. As such, higher Fal'Cie deities should qualify for Nonexistence Physiology (Nature Type 2; Aspect Types: 1, 2, and 4). This also grant Nonexistence Erasure of the same type for killing Orphan.

The Savior, is a person chosen by the head of the table, Bhunivelze, to "Save Souls" at the end of days. In this case, "The Savior" refers to one person, Lightning. The Savior is an entity described as having ascended from their status from before to be made "something more than human" and that of god themselves as a direct servant of Bhunivelze. The Savior is not only infused with Bhunvilze's direct power themselves, but it is also stated that "The Savior" is designed to act as a replacement for Etro. One of the three Fal'Cie's directly created by Bhunivelze. This would likely mean the Savior herself, would likely inherit the same status exclusive to the Highest Level of Fal'Cie Deities.

A note about the Savior. Lightning in this state is far superior to her Knight of Etro self, being able to take on characters such as Caius Ballad, whom she had previously lost against and instead fight them to draws. Yet for most of the game, she's an incomplete existence, with her having ripped part of her "Heart" away long ago, causing a drastic shift in personality. The lost part of the "Heart" manifesting as this character. As such, the Savior needs an additional key, one for when she has not reunited with Lumina, and one where she has.

The Historia Crux, The Void Beyond, Valhalla, and The Unseen Realm
Again big shoutout to @Eseseso on this one for his help and input on this. Currently Final Fantasy XIII is listed as 2-A via Gilgamesh scaling. However there are more justifications for 2-A beyond that as we'll dive into now. Final Fantasy XIII-2 confirms the existence of multiple different worlds which are equivalent to alternate timelines. These timelines are contained and connected by a structure known as "The Historia Crux". It is stated that the amount of timelines the Historia Crux possess is equivalent to the amount of possibilities. Type-0's "Spiral" was accepted as 2-A structure in the last revision of their being a multi-dimensional space-time aligned with different possibilities which contained an Infinite amount of worlds. These possibilities would be birthed from the world known as Valhalla, of which is stated to give birth to "Infinite Possibilities". Meaning the normal cosmology of FFXIII is a Multiverse in it's own right that's 2-A in size. With characters being above, on par, or weaker than one whose existence is capable of sustaining that realm. Which in turn means Final Fantasy XIII reaches 2-A on it's own, even without Gilgamesh. As such the justification for profiles needs to be both changed and expanded upon.

Now let's a dive a bit deeper into the cosmology. As established, both 13's Historia Crux contains and connects all the timelines together. This would include a place known as The Void Beyond, which is described as being "Extradimensional" in comparison to the other timelines. It is also a place where the past and future intersect with one another, indicating that the flow of it is completely different. However, the Multiverse in it's entirety is still inferior to the world of Valhalla, merely being described as it's "Shadow". Not only this, but Valhalla in it of itself is heavily implied to be a Higher-Dimension, one of which births all the existing timelines and dimensions and connects them through the Historia Crux. It is confirmed by WOG that Vallhalla exists on an entirely different plane of existence, from where, the entirety of the cosmology is able to be seen across Multiverses with all of it being referred to as "lower worlds" in nature, which includes places that are outright stated to be "Extradimensional". This realm is also stated to function differently from the rest of the Multiverses below it, in the since that time doesn't exist, where as space is ambiguous, meaning that the axis of Valhalla is completely different from everything below it.

Lastly we have the literal shadow realm, or as they call it "The Unseen Realm" where the "Unseen Chaos" originates from. This is a place where space-time flat out does not exist, this is due to the Unseen Realm, and by extension the Unseen Chaos completely transcending it across the Multiverse. With the difference between them, along with the size of it, being Infinite. In regards to Valhalla, it acts as middle ground between worlds and acts a "Stepping Stone" in order to get to the Unseen Realm.

Now what does this have to do with the Fal'Cie? Well one of the benefits of the Unseen Chaos is being able to utilize Time Gates in order to travel into the Historia Crux. Fal'Cie's of lower however cannot utilize this ability, due to some beings being tied to one world, with the other world "Valhalla" being inaccessible. This does not apply to the highest level of Fal'Cie deities, as proven by Etro herself who is effortlessly able to send her servants through the Historia Crux. Fal'Cie's of this kind are native to the world of Valhalla which as suggested before his heavily implied to be a Higher-Dimension. As such this should qualify for Higher-Dimensional Existence as well as Beyond-Dimensional Existence (Type 1) for the highest tier of Fal'Cie deities, alongside the "Hearts" and "Souls" made out of the Unseen Chaos which completely transcend space-time across the Multiverse. Since I'm no expert on this kind of stuff, I would appreciate if some experts would be able to see if this qualifies for Low 1-C of some sort. Please let me know

Physiology of 'Cie
Now we get to the interesting part. All goodies that come from being apart of this Mythology. Some of the L'Cie stones mentioned earlier will come into play here. While some abilities are already accepted, they will instead be repackaged under this new physiology. Thank you @TartaChocholate for advice with the formatting and specifications.

1. L'Cie Powers:
Applies to: The Final Fantasy XIII (13) Party, and Class Zero (L'Cie Tabbers)
Abilities
Resistances
Weaknesses

L'Cie's have an unspecified amount of time to complete their given focus, which depending on whether one succeeds or fails within the time frame will result in either their bodies either being crystalized or turning into a monstrous being robbed of all free will. The rate of progression of a L'Cie's brand is tied to both how difficult the focus itself is, and linked to the individual's mental state. With emotional extremes and severe psychological trauma are able to accelerate the progression of a L'Cie's brand to trigger their transformation into a Cie'th. Some people have been stated to have instantaneously turn into a Cie'th just by sheer shock of being branded a L'Cie in the most severe cases.

2. Cie'th Powers
Normal Cie'th
Same as L'Cie's minus Immortality (Types 1 and 8), plus Immortality (Type 7): Cie'th are described as a form of "Living Death"

The Undying
Same as L'Cie's minus Immortality (Type 8), plus Immortality (Type 7; Cie'th are described as a form of "Living Death")

3. Fal'Cie (Low Tier) Powers:
Applies to: Barthandelus, The Crystals
These are abilities lower level Fal'Cie possess, they also do not possess the weakness that L'Cie's do. All previous abilities and resistances (except for Cie'th powers) are greatly enhanced in addition to the following:
Abilities
- Should the L'Cie Succeed: Sleep Manipulation and Transmutation: Should the L'Cie complete their focus, they are blessed with a peaceful, eternal slumber in which their body is crystalized.

- Should the L'Cie Fail: Corruption (Type 1), Biological Manipulation, Transmutation, Mind Manipulation, and Soul Manipulation: Should the L'Cie fail to complete their focus, they have their bodies mutated into monstrous beings known as Cie'th who are doomed to wander the world eternally until slain. Cie'th are described as "Mindless" and "Souless" beings robbed of all free will.
Resistances

Same as L'Cies, plus Empathic Manipulation (Fal'Cie's are stated to not have emotions)

Weaknesses

Fal'Cie's at this level are unable to utilize the Historia Crux to Travel through timelines and alternate dimensions provided by the Unseen Chaos.

4. Fal'Cie (Mid Tier) Powers:
Applies to: Orphan, Arecia, Gala, Ace & Rem Tokimiya (Rursuan Arbiter Keys)
These are abilities higher level Fal'Cie possess. All previous abilities and resistances (Except for Cie'th powers) are even further enhanced in addition to the following:
Abilities
Resistances
Weaknesses
While Fal'Cie are normally not able to feel emotions, taking possession over someone with them can cause the Fal'Cie in question to gain emotions from their victim. Which in turn can cause their way of thinking to become slightly irrational, as seen with Bhunivelze here. Same as Low Tier Fal'Cie's otherwise.

5. Fal'Cie (Top Tier) Powers:
Applies to: Bhunivelze, Pulse, Lindzei, Etro, and Lightning (Savior)
These are abilities exclusive to the highest Fal'Cie deities. All previous abilities and resistances (Except for Cie'th Powers) are even further enhanced in addition to the following:
Abilities:
Resistances:
Same as Before

Weaknesses:
Same as Mid Tier Fal'Cie's (Minus lack of Time & Dimensional Travel)

A page for this new physiology is nearly done, but am having issues with downloading images to make the page look netter than what it is now. So it may be a bit before the page is ready.

Additions to the Unseen Chaos
To coincide with the new physiology provided by the 'Cie mythos. The Unseen Chaos is getting some more additions and changes which can be detailed here with more expanded justifications.

Update: Now that the revision has been accepted, for the full version of the update please check out this link below to the new page.
For now. I'll just list off some of the important additions. The L'Cie stones mentioned earlier will also come into play
Bonus: Abstract Existence (Type 2): For Class Zero; As the representatives of the "Loci" in the Nameless Tomes, Class Zero are physical manifestations of Destiny itself.
Purification (Type 2; For Lightning and Bhunivelze) which negates Curse Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Corruption, Biological Manipulation, Transmutation, Soul Manipulation, and Madness Manipulation (Type 3): The power of Eradia is shown to be able to bring someone out of their Cie'th status, as shown by Lightning being able to purify Snow, whose Cie'th transformation was influenced by the Unseen Chaos.

Thank you for you for taking the time to read. See you next, time Warriors of Light

Agree: 6 (DarkDragonMedeus, Eseseso, Plank69 (Agrees with Hax Additions), TheGlassman12, Strife304, & HSTMaster)

You read all that in 13 minutes?

They would only get rage power if they amped their stats with rage. The statement you sent does not mention that

Welp it's been a while, but back at it with another revision for part 3 of the Fabula Nova Crystalis (XIII & Type-0) cosmology revision.

As such, higher Fal'Cie deities should qualify for Nonexistence Physiology (Nature Type 2; Aspect Types: 1, 2, and 4)

The Savior, is a person chosen by the head of the table, Bhunivelze, to "Save Souls" at the end of days. In this case, "The Savior" refers to one person, Lightning. The Historia Crux, The Void Beyond, Valhalla, and The Unseen Realm
Again big shoutout to @Eseseso on this one for his help and input on this. Currently Final Fantasy XIII is listed as 2-A via Gilgamesh scaling. I've heard from different people that this could be Tier 1, but I am no expert on that. Please let me know

Now we get to the interesting part. All goodies that come from being apart of this Mythology. Some of the L'Cie stones mentioned earlier will come into play here.

The Undying
Same as L'Cie's minus Immortality (Type 8), plus Immortality (Type 7; Cie'th are described as a form of "Living Death"), Rage Power (The Undying are beings that are driven by pure hatred of living things, that hatred allowing them to refuse their connection to the world being severed), and Instinctive Action (The Undying act purely on instinct in combat)

Weaknesses:
Same as Mid Tier Fal'Cie's

A page for this new physiology is nearly done, but am having issues with downloading images to make the page look netter than what it is now. So it may be a bit before the page is ready for inspection.

Additions to Unseen Chaos
To coincide with the new physiology provided by the 'Cie mythos. The Unseen Chaos is getting some more additions and changes which can be detailed here with more expanded justifications. For the full version of the update. Please check out this link below
And Purification (Type 2; For Lightning and Bhunivelze) which negates Curse Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Corruption, Biological Manipulation, Transmutation, Soul Manipulation, and Madness Manipulation (Type 3): The power of Eradia is shown to be able to bring someone out of their Cie'th status, as shown by Lightning being able to purify Snow, whose Cie'th transformation was influenced by the Chaos

Thank you for you for taking the time to read. See you next, time Warriors of Light

Having helped out with this as much as I could and having discussed this with you for a while, I agree with everything here.

Excellent job, amigo!

The transcending time stuff needs to be elaborated more, that alone won’t help for tier 1 since it doesn’t say anything about being above space and time in regards to the entire multiverse. I’ll look through the rest when I get the time.

Well, the being above the entire multiverse part comes from the support of Valhalla which sees "all timelines" and is said by WOG to be a be on a different plane of existence, even from places that are described as "Extradimensional". Pairing this along with the transcendence statement to support eachother.

Anyway tyt.

Asides from what AlphaOmega said, there's this stuff already on the Chaos Physiology sandbox:

The Unseen Realm lies beyond even Valhalla. Which is stated by WOG to exist on a different plane of reality, where the entire Cosmology can be seen, with all timelines and dimensions (4-D) being referred to as the "Lowerworld" in nature.

The Soul returns to the Unseen Realm upon the death of the Physical Body, a realm that is described to be beyond all timelines and dimensions. This would include the world of Valhalla, which is confirmed by WOG to exist on a different plane of reality, where the entire Cosmology can be seen, with all timelines and dimensions being referred to as the "Lowerworld" in nature. The Void Beyond is stated to harbor Extradimensional spaces, in comparison to all timelines of the Historia Crux, which are 4-D, yet is still inferior to the world of Valhalla, being referred to as it's "Shadow". The Soul is created from the Chaos, of which paradoxes are a side effect, a phenomena stated to transcend time. Implying that Chaos and by extension the Soul is superior to it.

The Void Beyond is said to harbor "Extradimensional spaces" in comparison to the all of the existing timelines within the Historia Crux. The Void Beyond is exists apart of, yet is also stated to be lower than the world of "Valhalla", being referred to as it's "shadow". Valhalla in particular is stated by WOG to exist on a different plane of reality, where the entire Cosmology can be seen, with all timelines and dimensions, which include the Void Beyond's Extradimensional spaces, being referred to as the "Lowerworld" in nature. Valhalla is also stated to numerous times to be beyond Space-Time. Paradoxes are a side effect of Chaos which is stated to transcend time, implying Chaos' ontological superiority.

Paradoxes are a side effect of Chaos which is stated to transcend time. This extends across the entire Fabula Nova Cosmology including the traditional universe, all existing timelines by the historia crux, the Unseen Realm, Valhalla, and Etro's Gate. Valhalla in particular by is stated by WOG to exist on a different plane of reality from the world. Where the entire span of Space-Time can be seen, which include all timelines (4-D) from the Historia Crux, with it being referred to as the "Lowerworld" in nature. The Void Beyond is apart of Valhalla, even referred to as it's "Shadow" which harbors "Extradimensional" spaces. When Etro's Heart was destroyed, the Chaos had effectively merged all of these realms into one.

The above information doesn't seem conclusive for Low 1-C. The rest of the additions seem fine.

As someone who isn't familiar with Tier 1 may ask what exactly would be needed to qualify for it in regards to this context? What exactly is missing?

For one thing, a coherent and organized argument for why it'd be Tier 1 is needed. Are you arguing that Valhalla is infinitely larger than, has an extra spatiotemporal dimension compared to the multiverse or that its qualitatively superior? The latter might have a very different tier from the former so being conclusive is important.

Another thing is that a lot of the information seems to just be disjoint and thrown there for the sake of it. "Extradimensional spaces" isn't necessarily Tier 1 without context to what dimension is referring to here, the same goes for blanket statements of transcending space and time. The most promising piece of evidence is the "Shadow" scan and that assumes it is being literal.

You basically need to prove it occupies an extra spatial or temporal axis than the multiverse for it to be 5-dimensional and above. As for qualitative superiority, the tiering system is still implementing changes to how we tier that currently.

Well I'm not really hard pushing for it to begin with, it's more so just a "Hey this kinda sounds like it, but I'd love if the experts elaborate on this." kind of thing. It's more so just to show Higher-Dimensions existing, hence asking for HDE and not Tier 1 outright since this thread is prioritizing hax. However, if anything it's more based on the Space-Time transcendence across the Multiverse argument, similar to something like say Blazblue. So I'll try to explain it the best I can

So there's the regular Multiverse where Infinite Worlds equate to Infinite Possibilities, among these is a place known as the "Void Beyond" which holds the "Extradimensional Spaces" like you saw. The Void Beyond along with everything else being the "Shadow" of Valhalla. With Valhalla being confirmed by WOG to be on a different plane of existence from it's "Shadow". Valhalla gives birth to and controls the multiverse from which every single timeline is able to be seen. Then there is a world known as the "Unseen Realm" where the Unseen Chaos originates from. The Unseen Chaos has statements of "Transcendence" over all, including Valhalla. By extension the transcendence statement applies to the Unseen Realm since it is made out of the Chaos. Lastly the Unseen Realm is being described as an Infinite World even compared to Valhalla, since Valhalla acts as the middle ground and stepping stone to get to the Unseen Realm.

wait a minute
wasn't Low 1-C accepted in this thread??

@AlphaOmegaV1 Blazblue elaborates on their transcendence on space and time by talking about how every reality/timeline in existence is easily contained by the realm that’s beyond time and space to begin with in the same paragraph. This stuff might be able to help, with the Valhalla seeing every timeline stuff but the whole “phenomena transcends time” stuff feels a bit lacking. I might see a possible tier 1, though I’d also have to look into 13 stuff to know the full context.

For context the Phenomena that transcends time is referring to Paradoxes which are caused as a side effect by the Unseen Chaos, and this by extension applies to the Unseen Realm itself as it is made out of the Chaos. The Unseen transcends across everything, and is described as an Infinite World, even in relation to Valhalla, which in it of itself is already Infinite.

I see, well you can think of Valhalla as playing the role The Boundary plays in Blazblue. Valhalla births, contains and connects every timeline, via a system/structure called "The Historia Crux from which characters Time and Dimensional Travel through to get to alternate timelines. With Valhalla existing on a different plane from it where it's said multiple times you can view every timeline, Valhalla refers to them as it's Shadow, and is stated numerous times to be beyond Space-Time, they even go as far as to put it on the back of certain covers of the game (Credit ZeroNegativoo). Does this help?

Again, this was never intended to be prioritized as a Tier 1 upgrade, but if there is something here, I want to make it easy to understand.

I think I can see it with the Caius and lightning scan (though personally I'd rather save the tier 1 stuff for once we get through most of the game and have a better understanding of the cosmology)

I think that stuff should be for another thread.

What about the P&A stuff in the OP?

Eh, it doesn't really matter to me when this is dealt with. I do still intend to make the cosmology blog that I mentioned before, but after this is over and making about 10 new profiles with this new stuff in mind. I'm likely gonna take some time off before I get started. Though after going through all the games, XIII-2 seems to be the most significant in regards to information

Also piggy backing on what Eseseso said, what about everything else? Since the Haxes are the real focus of this thread.

the empathic, law and fate hax stuff I'm not really seeing for the Fal'Cie, nothing really mentions they're warping the laws and destiny for the focus to happen.

Not seeing dimensional manipulation for the Fal'Cie making the dimension, that's just creation at best.

Not really sure I understand why Type 2 NEP is a thing since it doesn't really talk about them being neither existing nor not existing.

everything else looks ok.

Is it a cosmology blog for 13 or the whole FF ?

It's right here where it says that Fal'Cie's control the destinies of L'Cie's through their focus and turning the brand white resulted in the cast "turning their backs on their fates". With empathy and law coming from Fal'Cie's being able to enthrall victims to serve their will and while I didn't post it in the thread their is also a Law in Valhalla which dictates that the "Weak must obey the strong", I have the scan for this but can't post it right now due to an issue with my laptop, so I'm gonna need to find a workaround.

Fair Enough, I'll remove it

NEP2 is because of Orphan's form in it's entirety existing between "Dream and Reality", this pairs along with Bhunivelze's statement of his existence "not being tied to reality". It's like Persona's Velvet Room Attendees and Marvel's Astral Forms existing between "Being and Non Being"

That sounds more metaphorical, kind of like saying someone has cancer and is "fated to die within a few months" or something. Is there anything elaborated upon that shows the Fal'Cie can control fate in a more literal sense?

Between Dream and reality doesn't really tell me much on it being type 2 NEP.

Reality=Existence, Dream=Nonexistence. The Fal'Cie exists between them and Bhunivelze's statement of his existence not being tied to reality works in conjunction with Orphan's statement of being "between" both. Mean the Fal'Cie aren't tied to either one and exist between them. Hence Type 2, like the Persona and Marvel examples that I mentioned where are offically accepted.

Fabula Nova Crystalis" are stated to share the same mythology as "The Crystals" of that of the classic era games (1-6), with them representing souls, divinity, and "The Origin of Magic", the "origin of magic" being a direct reference to this guy.
Also this isn’t the case as of now and probably never was. the creator isn’t the origin of magic and the games(1-6) take place in different dimensions, but they do share the same properties of magic for different reasons.(ff1, 3 and 5 crystals have different creators and origins)

Does 13 treat dreams as something nonexistent in nature or no? Cause dreams aren't always nonexistent. Persona's an outdated series and is using the old version of Type 2 NEP where conceptually nonexistent was enough so I wouldn't use that as an example. Also not really sure I see how "being and non being" is the same as dream and reality.

I see well, Surprisingly yes, that and this. This on top of the mind itself along with dreams has the power of nonexistence as well thanks to Kanna's L'Cie stone, and their nature is said to be akin to an Unseen Realm...which is Nonexistent.

As for the Fate stuff, how about this. The Spiral that Arecia governs over gives birth to Class Zero who are literal manifestations of destiny. That help?

I guess I can see the dreams being nonexistent then.

If that’s treated as literal and not metaphorical, probably? I’d say it’s possibly fate manipulation, still don’t see how it’s empathic or law hax.

still don’t see how it’s empathic or law hax.
Upon reflection I can kinda see why one wouldn't consider what the Fal'Cie do as Law Hax, but there is an additional scan that I have and can get that could maybe support empathic hax, but I'll need time to use a workaround to get the upload to imgur

Ok so here are two scans, one of which states that Fal'Cie's are capable of tampering with emotions and Bhunivelze's control over Hope caused him to lose his sense of emotions. Hope this helps, though out of curiosity, why would compelling unwilling victims to serve your will not count?

Won’t lie, hard disagree on both mods stating there isn’t tier 1 here.

Discounting the odd, but admittedly understandable usage of the words “extra-dimensional” on this site, the fact that the Void is considered a shadow in comparsion to Valhalla is just textbook tier 1. For reference, on the new tiering system, R>F’s definition (as suggested by Ultima) is as follows:

  • Does the higher world actually see the lower world as something immaterial, and insubstantial? Is there any continuity between it and the lower world, as there is with higher and lower-dimensional spaces, or even with finite and infinite things? Can there be?
  • Is this actually being depicted as a matter of power, or, more precisely, something analogous to "size"?
  • Can lesser existences unexplainedly interact or potentially interact with the higher existences, on their own, without any external (Or otherwise anomalous) assistance at play?

Starting off with the first question, Valhalla views the Void as a shadow, something immaterial. The second question, you can peer upon the worlds from Valhalla, like how higher-dimensions can look upon lower dimensions. It asks if there is an actual distinction in strength, as to which again, there is, as it’s referred to as a lower world. The last is interaction with higher existences, which is already answered by the last scan, where only prayers and souls reach Valhalla, things aren’t really physical existences.

Planck argued that it the statement that calls the void a shadow assumes that it’s literal, but that isn’t how it works, you would need substantial evidence to suggest it isn’t literal, instead of just rejecting it outright, now that we know that it fulfills the prior two requirements.
