Welcome, this thread will go over why the SnyverCut should be the canon version of the Justice League instead of the Theatrical release.
Currently the wiki accepts Theatrical version as canon instead of the Snyder cut because of Snyder saying Warner Bros themselfs considers Theatrical as canon however this statement is later contridicted by Snyder himself saying whatever the fans say is canon and also by other directors and even movies aswell.
Even as early as 2018 we have Jason Momoa (Aquaman's actor) saying his films followed up on Snyder's version of Justice League instead of the Theatrical Cut this is later supported by movies director James Wann himselfs, who showed his movie to Snyder and was following what he had on mind instead of the Theatrical cut. These statements are again supported by Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman's producer) who said herself and many other DC film directors "tossed out" the Theatrical cut of the JL.
On top of all this we have movies that came out after the Snyder cut referencing it, such as Shazam 2's trailer using shots that were only seen it the Snyder cut or Rock removing Theatrical cut footage from Black Adam's trailer saying he "corrected" the trailer and the biggest proof is, The Flash movies itself litterally referencing events that only happened in the Snyder cut such as Bruce calling back the events Pozharnov where Barry reversed time which is one of the most important moments in the Snyder cut or the shot of Aquaman pointing his fingers at Barry after he ran him over.
Even if at first WB intended the theatrical cut to be the canon instead of the Snyder version by 2021, they have clearly changed their minds by 2022 and 2023 as proven by the evidences from the later DCEU movies and their marketing, which ultimately does not contradict the previous installments as other DCEU directors kept getting along with Snyder's original narrative.
I will go over how this effects the scaling in another thread, if it gets accepted.
