Rules

• Battle takes place in an underground Cavern with an area equal to several city blocks.

• Each character chooses 4 moves to use, not including passive abilities like resistance or Regenerationn.

• Win by Death or BFR (Time travel will be considered as Flash being BFRed).

Overview

• Both characters have knowledge of each other's abilities, but not personalities.

• Pidgeotto is allowed to use 1 agility attack before the battle given it is one of his chosen moves.

Pidgeot can outmaneuver Flash via Flight and constantly harass Flash with confusion via Hurricane and vision obscuring via Sand Attack.

Also you don't need to give Pidgeotto 1 agility. Pidgeotto is 3.4% SoL, and Flash is 2.6% SoL.

Pidgeotto is already faster.

Not exactly sure how; the calc linked puts him at 2.6% SoL. Am I missing something?

Just saw it. His justification needs changing. So according to my calc he is 43636460 m/s, or 14.556% SoL. Even with an Agility Pidgeotto goes to 6.8% SoL, so he will be a fair bit slower.

Hmm. My vote still goes to Pidgeotto. Lack of flight or decent projectiles really hurts Flash.

I don't think so. Flash already can't reliably pin down an airborne target; buffing the flier would only make it worse.

I don't see how Barry is going to be able to really hit Pidgeotto honestly (it wouldn't be that often). Even then, Pidgeotto already has that speed boost from Agility. Combine that with Hurricane for confusion and Roost to heal any real damage taken, Pidgeotto should take this.

I forgot. Flash has limited resistance to mind manipulation. Not sure how much it would influence the match but I think it is worth mentioning.

Agreed. Also with Pidgeotto's possible confusion inducement, he should have an advantage.
