Game Mechanic question

So in an RPG if character A fights character B and states they have no way of actually beating them, yet they have hax that character B hasn't shown to resist outside of gameplay does that mean character B would get resistances to those abilities or no?
 
I think it may be acceptable, but I'd be careful with the reasoning.

I would say something like "Possibly resistance to "X power" (Stated that character a had no way of beating character b) "
 
Since you're adding abilities to the page. I'd use my above quote in a CRT and people who have more knowledge of the verse will know if it's passable or not.
