Giorno with GER vs Cheap Trick

With GER? Couldnt Giorno just like, let Cheap Trick tear his back off, have Cheap Trick go to someone else, then GER just heal Giorno then proceed to rip Cheap Trick's head off?
Given we already know GER can heal fatal wounds from Giorno, possibly post-mortem easily and instantly. Hell, it's one of his only feats actually.

The only issue I see that Cheap Trick could pose is the life force drain that it does, but given GE can explicitly pump things full of life energy (it's why Bruno was able to survive that long, he himself says GE gave him a bit of life energy), I think Giorno is possibly the only Stand User that can circumvent the damage and the life drain. Even without GER, only the base Stand.
