God of War (2018) General Discussion III

There's a good amount info from the word of god honestlly. Like how Kratos had a hard time dealing with Baldur at the beginnning and all.

But yeah the storm that Atreus makes after he's close to dying could be calc'd. Cory calls it the red storm and says the epicenter is at there house in the woods

It's mentioned many times that Kratos got older and weaker, even Kratos comments that he is running out of strenght, and that's why he wanted to finish the journey with Atreus as fast as possible.

Which makes sense, someone could argue that Gods shouldnt be affected by the time, in the regard of becoming weaker... But Kratos is only half god, half of his body and soul is still mortal, and just like mortal, his body limits him and will keep limit him even more with time.

There's a thing called rewatch bonus. Kratos believed that Baldur knew his past and was from Greek. But in reality Baldur mistaken his identity as a Jotnar instead a God, due carrying Faye's ashes (Cory confirms this in the commentary)

"I thought you be taller?"

Cory even says that it's been very long since Kratos fought people like Baldur.

Baldur been saying that his body will give out because that's how the Jotnar died in the end. Perfectly shown in the visit to Jotunnheim on the bodies of jotnars and how Faye eventually died. It's also the reason why Baldur was so keen on having Kratos punching him because he believed the Jotnar might be the ones to make him feel pain.

That much I knew, I just didn't know Baldur was actually giving our main man a tough time. I assumed he was just reluctant on going all out

Well Baldur is no slouch, He's a Vanir-Aesir god and the Prince of Asgard. He's managed to knock out Jormungandr tbh.

Many treat him as a low-tier god, but the fact he ascends the throne in the myth, pretty much makes him one of the strongest but got killed off due to Mistletoe being his Kryptonite.

All We know for certain is that nothing is certain. My money's still on Lumberjack Kratos cutting down the world tree himself.

Uhhh World Tree is still standing from where I stand m8. I know his battle with the serpent is suppose to **** the tree up but if Kratos kills Thor then we gonna need someone else to destroy it.

Yeah...we know that Baldur didn't know Kratos was a Spartan. Heck Mimir himself didn't know Kratos was the Ghost of Sparta until Hela. They don't really make any mention of Kratos spartan heritage. It's likely they know a god or someone godlike when they see it.

Hey guys quick question, and I asked this before but never really got a clear cut answer. Why is Thanatos only High 6-A despite being the son of two of the 3-A primordials listed? He's the same race yet... not?
