How much of a difference in speed does there need to be to be considered a blitz.

I don't think there's any real measurment on this but I'd assume x2 speed would be enough if every other stat is identical. Feel free to disagree though as I just pulled that number out of my ass.

There's no set rule on what constitutes a blitz and it's been debated since this wiki's founding.

However, the gap in a speed blitz is usually obvious in a matchup for as long as calcs as provided.

For instance, once you get to the MFTL range, one character can be 50x faster than another, which would obviously be a blitz. In the MFTL+ range, all calcs should be checked on both character pages since the difference in speed can be massive.

Light buster, given that reaction speed changes and varies, based on speed level, I don't think that's possible. The typical trained reaction time to deal with threats is .5 seconds. Longer if a person is untrained, up from .6 to 2 seconds. That does not include drag racers, that are reacting to a .4 second light system, which have reaction times of .000 to .182 seconds (See a nhra drag race). Reaction time gets significantly smaller and quicker, as you get above security/police/athlete level. Take Goku for example or even Neo. So, there's no base to work with, lightbuster. Unless you mean base by being the same tier in reaction speed. Calculating reaction speed and reaction time for Superhuman reactions or above requires the calc team. I can't help there. Not that good in math. I'm guessing even Ruby/Neo would have an extremely quick reaction time, since they both are massively hypersonic.

Like I said, it varies.

There's no ruling on how exactly to do this, just use common sense.

If the characters are within a relatively close speed range, then sure the fight is fine.

If there's a massive speed gap, you might want to rethink that matchup.

When something says speed Is equalized, does it mean same speed tier, or same mph or percentage/multiplication of light speed?

Examples :

-Let's say char A can fight and run at 100 miles per hour. While char B can fight and run at 90 miles per hour, the difference in speed here is only of 10.5263%, so not much.

-Let's say char A can fight and run at mach 1. While char B can fight and run at mach 2, here the difference is of 66.6667%, that is quite a lot. Here, B is faster by a decent amount.

This should work.
