Improving Austin Powers

Currently Austin Powers' profile is scaled only off a single common feat and the generic value for reacting to gunfire

Here's a list of calculable feats that either upgrades statistics or supports them

Spoiler: Feats

• Random Task's shoe throw breaks a statue head, which Austin Powers is able to tank
• Austin Powers dodges bullets & catches one in his mouth
• Austin Powers forcefully opens a metal door
• Austin Power tanks explosion that tears apart a room (Second Vid)
• Austin Power & Dr. Evil survive car bomb as babies
• Fat Bastard shakes volcanic lair by walking, with it even being thought to be an eruption by Frau (HQ scan of the lair); not an outlier either as he's also shown shaking an apartment from falling over, with various objects being knocked over
• Austin Power blocks machine gun & bazooka, Robin is able to tank the same machine gunfire and bazooka (with a bazooka producing 6.65 megajoules of explosive energy) plus a very long fall
• Austin Power flips Fat Bastard who weighs a tonne
• Fat Bastard throws a sumo wrestler
• Fat Bastard walks through doors (this is listed on the profile but it shouldn't be as high as the common feat reference as he isn't destroying the entire door)

If I'm missing any feats I'll add them to the list or if you happen to find/provide better scans for these feats

yeah i was thinking of cleaning up the profile formatting, and mentioning the feats but i never learnt how to calc lol

Unless you know a mod personally on this site, getting a calc done and approved takes years and years

I was planning on doing a good chunk of them myself but some of the feats seem tricky to calc and happen to be the most important (like the FB shaking the lair)

I do think that’ll Austin’s page could use some work I feel like it’s missing some stuff like actual feats or clarifications like on his seduction abilities.

He does say in Goldmember that he's trying to lose weight though, and he isn't shaking everything anymore, so he might be lighter in that film than in the previous one.

I don't think his weight should be significantly less, it's all kinda setup for the subway joke at the end

Not sure we can really rely on that. Probably safer to just make it a ton for the calc.

There is, but you wouldn't like it. We'd treat his weight as currently unknown and/or use the baseline for obesity at his height. This would be quite bad for the verse's stats, obviously.

Idk how much stock we can put in him shaking things. Shaking Feats are kind of really difficult and annoying

I will say other feats listed here are kinda iffy. The implication with the bazooka blast is that the woman took basically all of the blast for him so idk how much he scales. If he meaningfully injured that woman than sure.

is this something we can calc? I’m not too sure but if we could get the weight of the doors you could probably figure out how much pushing it is. I’ve done pushing calcs before and I think friction still applies to these. Probably a bit higher than class 1 but I’m unsure.

We should also include his seduction feats in the actual page itself because iirc he’s got some pretty crazy ones.

See, personally I’m not willing to give the entire verse a High 8-C rating just because of a statement made by a character. It wasn’t an eruption, it was just the ground shaking as if an eruption was about to happen. That’s not the same, really.

I just wouldn’t personally feel comfortable giving the verse a stat like that.
