Shockingly enough, it seems that AC is one of the few verses that outright says "LOL nope" to Itachi's genjutsu and the Infinite Tsukuyomi and other types of Genjutsu, but sadly get stomped by the sheer amount of other hax the Naruto guys hav- wait.

That's inside tsukiyomi. It's within a illusion. As I said he controls your perception of time in his illusions. He doesn't actually control time.
