1800s English gentleman that uses Hamon takes on modern day cyborg with PTSD. Let's see how this goes.

Speed is equalised. Battle takes place in streets of New York with both starting ten feet apart.

This is Cyborg Gray Fox vs Pre Deep Pass Overdrive Jonathan. Cyborg Gray Fox has HF Blade and Jonathan has Luck and Pluck.

Fabulous British Gentleman - 0

The OG Cyborg Ninja - 2

I would vote by Gray Fox due superior skill and experience, the weapon give him a melee advantage too.

Does Fox's sword ignore durability? If it does he takes this pretty easily. If not, then Jonathan wins by partying or touching him.

Then Jonathan probably counters with a hamon enfused sword... Which gets cut him cut in half. Not good for him.

Gray Fox fra. Would have been a better fight if this was Kars but oh well.

Couldn't Jonathan perform a zoom punch or some other hamon technique? The distance should be far enough and both can take the other down in one blow.

A single zoom punch doesn't carry enough hamon to put Fox out though, it would need to be an overdrive or many punches. I also don't think he's going to immediately punch the man with a sword, especially when he has his own.

Fair enough, is there any possibility of Jonathan having a good chance to win to make this a credible match? Also kinda curious how Hamon would interact with a HF blade.

Nah he has a real bad chance here, most scenarios where he fights back (which is his style) ends up with him getting one shot. Hamon wouldn't do anything special against the blade.
