King Kong's High 8C scales to a Magnitude 3.5 Earthquake, which is about 2.6 tons

Sun is slightly superior to Blake, who scales to Ruby, who can 1 shot Nevermores, which previously took the efforts of all of Vol.1 Team Ruby to kill, and Ruby alone is 1.21 tons

So Sun => Vol.4 Blake = Vol.4 Ruby >>> Nevermore >>> Vol.1 Ruby = 1.21 tons

Stomp for Sun

Not really how stomps work, even with all that it wouldnt make him 7.5x stongre than Kong
ok let me elaborate why this is a stomp then

STRENGTH: Sun stomps easily, as mentioned above

SPEED: Although speed is equalized, Sun's smaller size gives him a massive edge in the agility department. He's also more experienced at dealing with foes Kong's size

DURABILITY: Sun stomps easily, as mentioned above, since his dura = his AP

SKILL: Aside from punching things and throwing rocks and bombs, King Kong can't do anything else, and he doesn't ahve any noticable fighting style or skill. Sun, on the other hand, is an experienced Huntsman and thief, and is a master at using his staff/gun-chucks. Plus Sun can summon up to 3 more of himself effortlessley, and all 3 have the same stats as he does.

Seems pretty stompish to me

Thats not a stomp, thats a decisive win, Sun has no hax, no amps, and no oneshot-worthy ap advantage

Sun is only a bit over 2 tons
yeah I got that. But where's the calc?

Ruby has a 1.21 ton feat in Volume 1, and in Volume 4, she can kill Nevermores who used to need all of Team RWBY to kill, meaning that she should be about 4 times stronger in Volume 4. Sun should scale to this, no?

>meaning that she should be about 4 times stronger in Volume 4

Not how it works. Without a calc it can only be assumed that she can oneshot Grimm that are borderline High 8-C making her baseline High 8-C

alright then here's a different scaling chain

A Griffon 1 shot Torchwick by eating him

Vol.3 Ruby defeated the Griffon

Therefore Vol.4 Sun = Vol.4 Ruby > Vol.3 Ruby > Griffon = High 8C

So he should still be decently above baseline

Sun still wins easily via everything except AP
