Someone made a page for MK Homelander placing him at 5-A for whatever reason. Two problems:

1. The profile links to no 5-A calculation anywhere.
2. Fire God Liu Kang is 8-A.

So he should be downgraded to 8-A ig

From what I know, fatalities are used in MK when they are supported by feats within the story. Otherwise, Cetrion would still be tier 5. I'm not saying there aren't feats above 8-A since the verse is very outdated. But it's something that has been supported in the story first.

To be fair, Liu Kang's profile is quite old and outdated. Dude's missing stuff form MK1 including black hole manipulation like the link I sent above and time manipulation via timeline creations.

tbh, I think it's going to be Superman getting nerfed by your standard crossover comic BS rather than Homelander getting buffed in any way. Still, who knows, maybe Darksied/the writers will take pity on ol' Homey and decide to juice him up a bit for the fight.

Historically Superman has been nerfed for crossovers, like Mortal Kombat vs DC, where Superman losing a huge chunk of his power was literally a significant story point used to explain certain characters' performance.

For Superman vs Homelander you could start by bringing some of Superman's weaknesses into play, like Kryptonite, nuclear radiation and red stars.
