Layered Soul Question

Context:
So there is multiple parts of a "body" with those being:

Physical/Material Body
Spiritual/Mental Body
Astral Body
Soul

with each one containing the other in that order.

So, my question is whether or not the "Soul" itself would be layered since if someone would interfere with it, they would need to bypass the spiritual body or astral body.

Yeah not layered, more like "barriers" to get past to manip the soul.

In JJK cursed energy protects the soul, that's a "barrier". In this verse, the spiritual body protects the soul.

Basic soul stuff wouldn't work, it'd need like some further/different intangibility or teleportation I'd say.
Also, the spiritual body kanji 精神-体 is likely referring to the mind/mental body here rather than another soul like thing. You could put it as unconventional soul resistance "One must first get past the mental body to interact with the soul."

Yeah, the spiritual body is the mental body + energy reserve (more or less).
While the astral body is literally a protective container.
So 2 "barriers"

You'll need to have NPI on Mind and Aether (or whatever astral body is) to be able to reach the soul. It has unconventional resistance to soul lvl dura negation in that you can't get pass just by "layering" the dura negation, but more so need to have NPI on the protective stuff
