If a character is heavily hax-stacked, has good range, good durability, and decent speed, but very low attack potency (AP), and they fight an opponent from a much higher tier (for example, 9-B vs 4-A):

1. How could such a character realistically win?

2. If they do win, how can an enormous tier gap be bypassed or justified?

3. Can hax function independently of AP?
(For example, the character’s AP is only 9-B, but their abilities can affect a 1-A structure or a much higher-tier entity, this applies to their durability/defence hax too.)

4. Would such a victory be considered valid under standard powerscaling rules?

5. How should plot manipulation that automatically “saves” the character be treated?
(Basically RE but cracked.)

Hax, by definition, ignores durability. So, assuming the 4-A character doesn't resist the hax, the 9-B could easily win. Either via hax such as Death Manipulation, which instantly kills the opponent, or incap, through Sleep Manipulation, Sealing, etc.

Though, this doesn't apply to characters who are physically higher-dimensional, since even affecting them in the first place requires feats.

See above.

Yes.

By this I'm assuming you mean versus thread rules. If both characters have realistic win conditions, it is a valid match.

Say for example, the 9-B character in question has Death Hax via a bolt of magic they can fire, and their opponent doesn't resist Death Hax. Meanwhile, their opponent is 4-A, so a single hit is all it would take for the 4-A character to win. Such a matchup would be valid, assuming their speeds are relative, and there isn't some other factor that renders either win condition moot.

5. How should plot manipulation that automatically “saves” the character be treated?
(Basically RE but cracked.)
It depends on how the verse in question treats it. There is no singular answer for this.
