Hello again, been a while huh? While this update won't cover everything still needed to be added (still plenty of things to add here and there), this will make the profiles presentable for the most part. Here we will be not only including the modern material from Parts 4 and 5 but additionally revamping the entire profiles to include examples for various feats not given one alongside giving all the cast members fresh new coats of paint!

Major changes like complex or somewhat questionable abilities are red

Minor changes like simple or self evident abilities are green

Cosmetic changes such as already accepted powers or basic profile changes are blue

For quick and easy means of locating what's actually new for abilities and such, look in the references section for anything listed as "Part 4" or "Part 5"
THE ULTIMATE LUPIN REVISION!

General TLC - This is for the general changes for all the profiles, as most of them were largely made in a poor fashion and were in desperate need of some attention. While mostly a category for making things look neater, adding examples to already existing powers, or just giving more accurate explanations for some abilities, there are some buffs in here that are verse-wide
  • More detailed Social Influencing list, on account of it being a massive part of the series and the current ones barley describe the characters themselves.
  • Fixed the ranged sections which were inaccurate, as 'several meters' for a gun is pathetic and none of them besides Jigen actually has what the site considers to be the average gun range
  • Added new images and included sound files + quotes to each of them (more will be added at a later time)
  • Added references to feats that lacked them
  • Changed "TV Specials" to "Pachinko", as these images did not derive from TV Specials and are instead from Pachinko machines (there's a link there lol). Since they are all just modern versions of Part 2 outfits, the images previously there will simply be moved there for higher quality images while being replaced with more up to date and consistent images of Pachinko outfits. Singular exception to this is Lupin as that design is specifically only used in side material and not part 2.
  • Updated age range to account for the more recent media time-period, Zenigata has a more exact one mentioned on his changes
  • Improved Intelligence Section worldwide, Goemon and Jigen are buffed to Genius categories thanks to being able to outperform Leonardo Da Vinci who is an Extraordinary Genius in his own right (effortlessly deciphered The Italian Dream, a secret code hidden behind countless different languages and itself is a work of extraordinary genius, and used it to create a superweapon allowing him to implant his consciousness into the minds of everyone in Italy, eventually taking over almost the entire populace's minds except for the smartest ones. Aka the Lupin Gang + Zenigata and Nyx. He's also so smart he was actively killing his clone body because it couldn't handle his intelligence.) alongside their 50-60+ years of experience + literally all of their other skills combines, these two are basically the pinnacles of their own right and have a frankly absurd general skillset outside of just basic combat IQ. Fujiko and Zenigata gets their own buff mentioned in their sections due to being larger alterations.
  • Improves various ability sections which either gained additional examples or were given actual examples for their uncredited power
  • Added Unorthodox Multiple Selves and Resistance to Mind Manipulation and Social Influence to the cast members, as it's a universal verse mechanic which is tied to knowing multiple languages at once with all of them being multilinguists.
  • Streamlined Thief related abilities since many of the characters just scale to one another in these aspects, Zenigata and Lupin are given more personalized ability sections due to them just having that an ungodly amount of better examples + being the highest end of these traits. Also universally gave Shapeshifting for disguises since.... well that's what it is lol.
  • Updated Standard Arsenals, either due to a lack of one or because some equipment weren't classified right. Any ability swaps will be mentioned in related character section.
  • Improved summaries to better portray the characters and account for actual history for them

Lupin III - His profile will turn into this one

  • Added Attack Reflection due to him being able to redirect bullets back at his opponents
  • Improved Hacking and Information Analysis + Analytical Precog
  • Added a note next to his weakness to woman saying how it's inapplicable in SBA scenarios, as his weakness to them isn't nearly to that extent
  • Added resistance to Analytical Prediction due to his ability to counter high end versions of such tactics, alongside his overall lack of in-universe information and in-universe misinformation making it difficult to do so in the first place.
  • Removed "Possibly" for Time Travel. While he's never used the ability outside of the singular example, he on all accounts still owns the machine with it qualifying as optional equipment.
  • Added an example for his feat of being able to see ghosts, also improved Non-Physical Interactions on account of him physically interacting with one (Won't blame anyone if they don't want to look at that example, fair warning it involves child death.)
  • Re-classified the Watarou Resistances as more detailed information about them, adding Multiple Selves (Type 1) and Information Manipulation (Type 1) to it as the Italian Dream functions via data and information which adds a new consciousness into you. The reason why he resists both Possession and Multiple Selves is because he can undo the co-existence of the minds and beat the attempts to possess his mind.
  • Removed any notion that Leonardo Da Vinci is the amalgamation of multiple genius minds, that is just patently false as the legend himself is simply that smart.
  • Added Limited Self Sustenance Type 2 and Supernatural Willpower, due to Lupin surviving for over half a year inside of a iron box and pretending to be suicidal to Zenigata by not eating. All so he could just escape once Zenigata thought he had finally died of starvation.
  • Added Limited Illusion Creation since Lupin is a SSS grade painter.
  • Buffed Body Control into a full ability since Lupin can forcibly dislocate and relocate his bones at will, allowing him to escape tough situations
  • Added Clairvoyance, Analytical Prediction, and Enhanced Senses to Lupin's monocle since it's directly comparable to Ami's eye, which is capable of making calculations, accessing the internet, sending messages, among many other traits.
  • Added some abilities and resistance revolving around Statistical Reduction and Amplification of his intelligence, which admittedly aren't very powerful.
  • Added Light Manipulation via his cell phone having a flashbang flashlight
  • Added hand grenades since he just keeps those in his jacket
  • Added Electricity Manipulation for Lupin's lighter
  • Added Explosion Manipulation and Limited Clairvoyance for Lupin's shoes
  • Added a note after his weakness section that notes how his weakness to women isn't applicable in every scenario.

Koichi Zenigata - Pop's profile will be turned into this one

  • Changed his age to 86, as he's consistently older than most of the other members of the cast and we have a direct date of birth which is December 25, 1938. This date is found in the TV Special "Bye Bye Liberty" and is enforced in the Modern series as his Birthday is still considered to be December 25th.
  • Added Information Analysis and Analytical Precognition thanks to him being able to consistently predict and figure out crime scenes and people with little issue, including Lupin
  • Improved Intelligence Section and buffed Zenigata to Extraordinary Genius due to directly being comparable to Lupin who has such feats, even if you exclude them to only detective reasoning and stealth (Lupin solved the mystery of the Tower of Babel, which not even members of an advanced alien civilization could during thousands of years)
  • Added attack reflection and superhuman precision thanks to him being capable of casually deflecting a bullet multiple times in order to hit his opponent.
  • Added Supernatural Luck, on account of the fact that Zenigata has almost 60 years worth of examples of him constantly finding Lupin randomly. With the franchise itself considering the idea that Zenigata wouldn't randomly find him to be so impossible that Lupin must be dreaming.

Goemon - Once again, I have buffed a worthy profile

  • Actually added a range to his air slashes which were approved in 2023 lol
  • Gave Zantetsuken it's own tab since the weapon has it's own range of abilities, resistances, and has completely different scaling to the rest of the cast
  • Actually defined what elements the Zantetsuken has shown to interact with
  • Added limited Barrier Manipulation due to the Zantetsuken being capable of completely defending against mini-gun fire
  • Added Superhuman Percision
  • Added Danmaku because he can cut things a comedically large amount of times with just a few swings.
  • Removed mention of Goemon being able to sense through illusions, as I legit couldn't find an example for this and when looking into it I found the actual feat itself....... less than impressive (Fuma conspiracy, Goemon gets hit with hallucinating gas which is basically fear gas. Goemon being able to sense other people here isn't much of a feat considering he still considered them a threat despite being his friends + nothing about the gas to my knowledge would've impeded these aspects of him.)
  • Added a note after his weakness section that notes how his weakness to women isn't applicable in every scenario.

Jigen - Ol' Reliable becomes Ol' Reliable

  • Added preparation section
  • Added Analytical Prediction and attack reflection thanks to his insane knowledge of guns and their trajectories + scaling directly above Lupin's accuracy
  • Added Fire Manipulation since he owns a lighter

Fujiko - As the resident Trash Tier of the verse, we have opted to not change anything with Fujiko as it'd be a simple waste of resour- HOLY SHIT IS SHE DOING MAGIC!?!?!

  • "Magic" - Fujiko is given a few magical abilities listed under "Illusion Creation" thanks to her actually learning magic tricks.
  • Made Fujiko's flashbang standard equipment, since we now actually have an example for it and it's just a standard thief's tool
  • Made her intelligence section not absolute trash, also actually gave her some credit since she's like the 3rd smartest character in the verse currently and buffed her into Genius levels on account of her worldwide knowledge which would easily put her on the level of a real world genius at least.
  • I would like to request her profile name to be changed to Fujiko Mine, as that is the correct name order

I'm not familiar with the verse so if there's context I'm missing which would invalidate things like the Information Manipulation resistance etc, I wouldn't know (basically all the red sections.)

That said, this mostly seems fine. I have a few nitpicks, but I try not to let that hold up very large projects like this.

Still, I'll mention a few:

Danmaku specifically refers to projectiles, so I don't think any number of sword swings qualifies- that's more of a speed feat.

I don't think Supernatural Willpower makes sense for simply surviving something you're forced into- since he didn't exactly have another choice.

I'm not sure deflecting a few bullets is enough for Superhuman Precision, are there other examples?

Goemon's danmaku originates from his air slashes, as the grand majority of his cuts are from afar. These attacks can often hit multiple times and multiple target to illogical levels with minimal effort. Despite this Goemon is often firing these at a high rate its to a point where it's far above other comparable characters. I will admit there are better examples for it in the series but due to sheer size these are the only ones applicable for this specific update.

This is basically the only way to represent this trait.

Im assuming you mean Lupin's feat, he basically was inside of a solidarity confinement prison and was actively starving himself for over half a year with it being outright stated there was a high chance of him just straight up dying. This is a feat of willpower as that was basically the only reason he stayed alive and sane for that entire time. He wasn't force to not eat that was an active choice he made in order to escape a prison he tricked Zenigata into putting him into.

Also, I dont know what you meant by "simply surviving something you're forced into", if a character is brutally tortured they can get willpower for it depending on how they reacted.

I'm not sure deflecting a few bullets is enough for Superhuman Precision, are there other examples?
Lupin's Percision also comes from him being able to accurately hit a weak point he couldn't see and directly scaling to Jigen who is precise enough to hit his own bullets mid-air to ricochet them to hit targets. There will be more examples of it again, but again...

These are mostly examples where I'd need to make a completely separate CRT for it due to the sheer number of things those pieces of medium add. (Which unironically I have mostly done and am currently just waiting for the profiles to be revamped in order to not complicate things too much.)

In terms of "what is the smallest thing characters have shown to effect", Goemon does have feats of cutting raindrops and sand. And he considers Lupin to be the better fighter

Alright. That is probably fine then.

Real people starve themselves to protest being imprisoned too, or remain stoic while tortured. It requires a lot of willpower, sure, but I don't think it requires it to be supernatural.

Alright. That is probably fine then. You should include those feats in the justification too.

Not for 6 months straight, a character still being able to think and act perfectly fine after that is insane. Assuming he was still drinking (which i dont think was even confirmed) the most a normal human could likely is 3 months before dying with that being a more generous number. An average person would only be likely to last a few weeks, so Lupin lasting 2 times longer than the maximum is superhuman.

Well surviving without food or water sounds more like self-sustenance or some kind of stamina feat.

Which it is also listed as (to a limited extent), but Lupin was still suffering through it and as mentioned had a very high likelihood of death from it. Since there's no other explanation for it the only source of this trait would be sheer willpower as he literally was fighting off death by starvation to achieve his goal.

I agree it is a feat of high willpower, but I don't agree it's supernatural.

We appear to be at an impasse there, my apologies.

You should seek further staff opinion if you're passionate about it.

Fair enough, though now thinking about it I just realized there is other feats I could've been using like him repeatedly trying to overcome reality warping nonsense (this is technically a dream but this version of Lupin is a literal 1 to 1 copy on a information level) or the fact he literally overcomes mind control.... hindsight is a crazy thing

Is the mind control shown to easily work on a vast majority of people?

Yes, to varying levels. Easy example on the profiles already is the suicide ray which does as the name implies which Lupin could somewhat resist, more impressive example is breaking out of Tomoe's mind control which was intended to turn him into a loyal drone who'd do whatever she wanted.

Generally mind control can be a "no diff" scenario or actually a threat depending on the example, but thats only for the main cast. It works fine with anyone else in the verse like in Pycal's example where he mind controls things from kilometers away only for Lupin and co to just casually resist it's effects (Jigen was only really effected due to a PIS scenario where he had an illness that made him unusually weak to sound attacks)

Then resisting it via willpower is more convincing evidence of it being supernatural, so I suppose that's probably fine too, though the justification should include that.
