In base, I'd have to say there's no use for Silver to attack Buu, because it'll just delay the inevitable. Even disregarding the kilofoe calc (I always try to), Silver is baseline while Buu casually stomps baselines. Buu destroys him in regen, and still has the candy beam and absorption if the almighty hax called punching him really hard doesn't finish the job.
